I totally agree with Lonnie B. Beterbiev has amazing timing, precision, he moves laterally, he has excellent inside fighting skills and a mind-boggling punch selection, he works the body and his jab is a like a power punch.
It's time to school the new kids on the boxing block. Artur is a unique boxer puncher. He is not a puncher boxer. Bivol is a normal boxer. Tall linky with a, a to b- jab. The difference between Artur and Bivol is a vast difference. Bivol has a problem slipping to the left. In all his fights he gets hit with a looping right. That is how Canelo was catching him and how Smith caught him. Also Bivol fights with a high guard and when he is being pressured he will reach to spin his opponent or he high guard off the ropes. His combinations are more slappy punches and he stays the same speed which is bad. Artur never starts a fight out swinging wild. He starts by jabbing to the chest then as the round goes along he starts popping his jab to the head. He forces his opponents to work hard while he conserves his energy. Artur gets stronger as the rounds goes by. He starts putting more ump in his punches which he isn't a one punch knockout artis. He is a solid puncher at all times. His jabs are like right hands. The only way possible for Bivol to win is by a lucky punch or doing the Devin Haney game . Throw a punch grab, run run run jab throw a punch grab jab throw a combo and grab. The problem with that is when he tries to clinch Artur will man handle him and start tossing him around in the clinch. Which in return will tire Bivol down. My predictions is about the 4th he will start connecting more often and by the 10th after Artur beats on him in the 8th and 9th Bivol will cave. Remember Artur has fought hundreds of boxers. Bivol has never fought anyone like Artur that has power and can take a shot and never tire. For all you that say about Artur being dropped please go back and watch the fight. Artur stepped to his left and his foot was in the air so when he got caught he was off balance and fell. When he got back up he showed no signs of being hurt. Go back and watch the fight and pay attention. Canelo and Artur has 2 different offensive styles. Also Artur hits harder and throws straighter punches than Canelo. Also Canelo is 5" 8 reach 70 inches. Artur is 6 foot reach 73 inches. Bivols reach 72 inches 6 foot tall. Vast difference from Canelo and Artur.
So many things worng. Artur has been dropped twice and DID show he was hurt.. He responded very well after. When did canelo catch him with a looping right??? when he was punching his arm?? One of bivols strong points is that he varies the speed and power on his punches. Its boxing anything can happen but to say on paper thats its not an extremely competitive matchup is just false. Both men have 300 amateur fights and have trained with one another.
Bivol is a ‘normal boxer’ Yeah right…you forgot to add that he is the least hit fighter in the entire pro boxing game today… Just like every other normal boxer that don’t you think?? 😊
@@theboxingbreakdown5535 Bivols only strap came from beating a smaller dude who naturally lands at the 160 division, he's got no belts from natural 175 pounders ... Beterbiev been knocking out the best at 175 taking belts home, he's beaten arguably the most technical boxer in boxing today Usyk who's dominating in a division with no ceiling at the moment purely based on his skills, one of the only guys to fold him, and as you said they have trained with one another and thats true thats why Beterbiev made the clear comment when addressing Bivol in the conference "he knows" as in Bivol's likely come up short before against him unofficially... Gvozdyk would cause Bivol problems likely knock his ass out to as he put adonis stevenson in the hospital the biggest puncher in the division at the time ... Go watch the Canelo fight and see how cautious Bivol was with a smaller guy who had power, imagine what its going to look like when he sits along those ropes like he did with Canelo with his high guard up while Beterbiev tee's off on him, Bivol will get dropped and look nothing but average against Artur and Artur already knows it ...
@@takoholmes Gvozdyk would beat Bivol, dudes average compared to this Artur ... he beats a smaller 168 pounder for a single WBA strap and yall think he's something Artur hasn't seen? ... Artur got a 100 percent knockout ratio against a better resume of opponents earned all three of his belts by knocking dudes out not skating on points, i've seen Bivol struggle with nobodies and skate to UD on points ... They've already met in the ring unofficially, thats why Beterbiev be saying in the conference "he knows" ... sounds like Bivol already got a taste of whats coming.
Bivols main advantage is his movement and quick combos but he will have to risk more against beterbiev and that will be his downfall as beterbiev is an elite boxer with good iq but the main tool is the knockout power.
Beterbieb made his KOs because of his skills.... You watch only the cream on the cake.... Look inside the cake. You will see how skillful he is... The power is just the salsa
Bivol is going to suprise Beterbiev. His ring iq, footwork and a master at distance. There's a reason why he is the least hit. Beterbiev is a beast but i think brains before brawn this fight
amazing, isn't it? that some guys fall in "love" with another guy? I like Canelo fine, but his "fans" have gone crazy on me for saying the least negative thing... "slow feet" and I got hundreds of responses saying I'm hater... crazy
Where did we hear this before, oh yeah the canelo fight where Bivol was a 5-1 underdog. Beterbiev is a monster of a fighter but Bivol is a master class boxer. Can’t wait for the fight.
Take it easy big fella. This is one of the most 50/50 fights in boxing right now. If they fought 4 times, it would go 2-2. To say otherwise before spouting off shows you are either bias or cannot respect (thus do not understand) the incredible skill of both fighters. I will chalk your smacktalk up to bias as a favor.
what? Bivol is absolutely a better pure boxer than gvozdyk. Hes shown a champion mindset as well. He was NOT uncomftorable in the joe smith jr fiight... he got caught. big diiffrence. besides that shot he was dominating the fight and then came back after the shot to nearly stop smith in the 12th. As far as punching power i think he is underated. Benavidez lists him as one of the hardest punchers hes been in with. Im not saying that Bivol will for sure win but they way off in this interview.
check out what Joe Smith Jr did to Bivol in round 4. both of Bivol knee shaking for 2 secs. Bivol basically froze and luckily Smith was real close so Bivol could hug to stop the knee shake.
I got Arthur beating bivol , but , gvozky when he fought this African dued before . Beterbiev . And he did not look good coming forward . I know Arthur would win that fight but bivol definitely better than gvozky or how ever u spell it
It just sounds like people don’t want Bivol to win. It’s like Beterbiev has to win. I don’t underestimate anything about Beterbiev, it’s Bivol people are underestimating, keep talking about he doesn’t have punching power. Skills win fights not punching power
bivol in 8, artur walks on to something trying to close that gap, sorry artur cant cut the ring off on bivol or fight at the range bivol does and yep we can discuss it in june because I'm looking forward to it
slow moving Zurdo land 107 punches, Lyndon Arthur landed 71 punches. Beterbiev who had 300 amateur fights will not be able to land punches? things not looking good for Bivol.
@@un1vids in what world is landing (mostly jabs) in single in every round a win for lyndon hahahaha bivol gets hit least the ANY fighter in ANY weight class in the entire sport hahahahah but yeah I'm sure he'll just sit their and let artur knock his head off hahahah sure
@@un1vids hahahaha canelo landed in single digits in every single round and that is somehow a victory in your thinking hahahahaha ok cool looking forward to revisiting this thread after the fight. you watched beterbiev since 2013, I've been watching both these guys since the amateurs...go find me some tape of ANYONE cutting the ring off on bivol amateur or pro dude. beterbiev does not have the footwork for this and especially not at 40 years old...go to a boxing gym and ask if pace is dictated by range (it is) then ask which of these fighters is going to dictate the range (it's bivol) then ask what happens to a 40 year old puncher coming forward non stop at bivols pace....he walks on to something. artur has been dropped by cab drivers walking on to shots...at 40, trying to close the gap on this guy, he will be walking on to shots constantly. doesnt matter if that makes you sad cause you like artur just go to a gym and ask those questions so you dont have to take my word for it ok
@@DRS659 body shots dont need combinations. body is not head where you fully cushion will full guard. Bivol is a 165. but because he got blasted frequently. his coach Mashyanov elevate him to 175 as the boxers are slower there. i know Bivol story too and hes gonna get stopped. things not looking good for Bivol
Everyone knows Beterbiev is a beast but Thompson nut riding the guy while his career has completely stalled out with no money is sad. The Russian doesn't care or talk about Lonnie B. Bivol might outbox Beterbiev like he took Canelo to school. This guy comparing Smith to Bivol shows his ignorance.
Beterbiev’s trainer has already said they are going to take away Bivol’s in and out movement. Beterbiev is going to smash Bivol up hurt him badly and viciously stop’s him like he did to all the rest of them before him. 💥🥊
The same 'experts' who thought deontay wilder was unbeatable, now think the same of Beterbiev, so don't be too confident. That Artur criticises Dimitry for having avoided a meeting for so long, suggests he himself feels he has less chance now, than he would have done "He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight".....is a quote from the Art of War by the Chinese General Sun Tzu, written some 2,500 years ago. Perhaps both Beterbiev and Bivol have that quote in mind, which is why Beterbiev is complaining, and Bivol is complimentary of Beterbiev .....and with a smile on his face.
If you check Bivol's coach interview, hes spewing negative behaviour of Beterbiev and this will be weakness in the ring to be exploit..and bragging Bivol won sparring in the past.. seems like hes trying hard to give positive vibe to Bivol so that his mental is always about win. things not looking good for Bivol it seems
Nobody who knows boxing, would ever consider Wilder unbeatable, and you cannot compare Beterbiev and Wilder in the same sentence. Beterbiev will finish Bivol before round 10, put money up.
Gvozdyk had some succes against beterbiev. Bivol had similar style but his movement is slightly better than gvozdyk, and he can take punch. This is just my opinion, i think canelo is a better fighter than beterbiev (the difference is beterbiev hits harder) and bivol beat canelo. So, Bivol has the tools to beat beterbiev.
And what was one of his tactics with canelo, shell up on the ropes and let canelo punch himself out, cant do that with beterbiev or he's gonna blast straight through bivols guard.
@@niyazahmed3448 Bivol can take punches. Remember, Beterbiev has been down before, I know that was long time ago but imagine if mediocre boxer can do that to beterbiev so does bivol. Like I said, Bivol is more superior than Gvozdyk & Canelo.
@@MariMakan91 Beterbiev stood right up after getting knocked down. Remember when Bivol got hit by Joe Smith. Bivol was shaky, he could barely stand, and he was lucky got hit right at the end of round. just saying. comparing apples to apples.
@@AzherSiddiqui they both are decent boxer. What I'm trying to say is, people keep saying that beterbiev is unbeatable. But the fact is, bivol has the same chance to beat him imo
