Never wave your right to a speedy trial, if they gonna charge you then they should have everything they need to win at trial, every motion filled could have been filed and rectified in 90days, put the pressure on the state.
@@TerranceGangstaWilliams they always gonna ask, the defense usually has to play catch up on discovery, they have to go back through Evidentiary findings, and no lawyer works for free, they burn the retainer in office time way before trial. It's a cash only game. The ada request it so they can take time building a case they're supposed have all figured out before arraignment, all findings are supposed to be filled with the probable cause affidavit. And once p.c. is granted all evidence is supposed to be filed in discovery. So both parties have access to it, and can file motions immediately. The state knows most defense lawyers will agree to request it, so they bank on providing the bare minimum for p.c. Just enough to get you held and charged, meaning pushing the speedy trial rule forces them to build a case that they can actually take to trial in 90 days, in this guy's trial the prosecution keeps filling motions for me evidence, new witnesses, new upgraded charges. Obviously the case wasn't as strong as they led it out to be at the time of his arrest and arraignment.

I just feel so bad for all these young men for the terrible childhoods they all had. Doesn’t excuse Ksoo’s behavior but I can’t help but think like many others, if Ksoo had better adults in his life and a better environment, he would be a completely different person today. Meanwhile, our government is sending billions to Ukraine and Israel while so many black children are living in poverty and literal war zones. It’s inexcusable. @@chadwilson461 I think a lot of it has to do with maturity in the sense that, teenagers and even early 20s (depending on when you mature bc many mature later than others- like myself 😹💀) they don’t think about how their current actions are going to affect their future. They don’t even think about detectives seeing their social media one day at the time they post this stuff. Seems mind boggling to a matured mind, but makes a lot of sense when you look at it this way. I just hope and pray this country can come together to SAVE THESE CHILDREN before it gets to this point. Prison system is literally using traumatized kids to fund itself. Instead of fighting over partisan politics I hope we can put that BS aside to save these kids.

Im always confused by this kinda thing. In most states, if the prosecution is gathering evidence he cant of been indicted yet. Once they indict you, it means the prosecution is ready and its the defense that usually does their best to stall the proceedings as long as possible - hoping that witnesses would move away, lose interest or (in extreme cases) die. It must be different in Florida.

He’s provided with 3 meals, clothing, a bed, toiletries etc… That’s what bail is for, when you are still fighting the case and don’t want to spend it in jail trying to fight it, however when they were about to grant them bail they were hit with another first degree murder charge which basically means they ain’t getting out unless they beat all them charges. People seem to assume a lot nowadays about the justice system and think they know everything because they saw it on tv or the internet and really know nothing but a simple Google search will usually answer most questions.
That's why black people fail. I'm not going to jail for my son if I tell him not to incriminate himself and he does it anyway, directly disobeying me. All to look cool when everyone knew you did it anyway. We can't get anywhere because we keep our own criminals free.
