Pokie didn't not to know to check that the engine was locked after he replaced the starter and battery. He should of put screws in the battery terminals so he could good connection.😆

I'd take of the serpentine belt first had it happen once a coworker thought engine nope just jammed alternator

Yes, that def happens. But this thing cooked badly overheated. All the plastic parts attached to this engine melted. Stay tuned fir that video coming up.

I also didn't mention how much air pressure was in the left rear tire my guy. Im not understanding ya comment. The engine seized, at this point nothing else matter unless the customer wants to no exactly what caused this. I wouldnt know exactly what caused this damage and would never care to dig deeper

Why would the customer not tell you the engine is blown? Is there some sort of scam? Are they gonna attempt to turn around and try to say it worked fine when they dropped it off?

😂 it's a Chrysler thing😂 you either need a new starter, or there's a bad connection with the starter. And also for some reason the battery terminals come loose a lot on Chrysler vehicles

Stay away from the 3.6 penistar engines. They are just bad news. Tons of problems with them. They were not designed in a good way. They have tons of failing components

This problem was induced. Customer just kept driving the car while it was running hit and simply cooked it. Could have easily turned it off and got what ever need fixing and save the engine. This a customer problem, not a typical motor problem

@@OnlineMechanicTips This is all about lack of maintenance. Has nothing to do with anything else. That engine was killed by whoever is responsible for it's maintenance.

I have a 24 year old GMC, a 20 year old Dodge Ram 2500, and a 2013 Dodge Journey. It's maintaining the vehicle, no matter the brand. I had an Isusu Pup for 24 years. I'm almost 60. I have had two trucks...MAINTENANCE!!!!!
