Not only Shao's brutality are horrid when he has so many moves that could lead to very good ones, but worst of all, HE DOES NOT SAY THE LINE !

shao's brutalities in general (pun intended) suck ass. U cant combo into any of them unless ur using someone like sub or sareena and dont get me started on why the devs didnt make his comand grab a brutalaluty. iT'S LITERALLY HIS BEST COMBO ENDER. It's like not giving sub zero a brutal for his slide.

Besides for the universal uppercut brutality that everyone has, Shao only has four brutalities. Two of them are back throws, so he only has two that are actually normal moves. One is his slow ass projectile which barely hits players as is. And finally his f2 1+3 string, which is probably his best one. Its super hard/sub-optimal to combo into and its pretty risky to throw out there raw. My boi got robbed brutality-wise. At least with Mavado its a bit easier thanks to his shock mine. I've definitely been getting more brutals thanks to that move.

I’m a Shao main and the only brutality that’s even remotely good is his Forward 2 to grab kombo. Everything else sucks ass and I still don’t know why the devs didn’t make his command grab a Brutality. I really hope they add in new ones in the future.

This brutality is tough because like you said, the distance is mislabeled. I found the only time I could do this one is at max range of the projectile, waaay further than jump distance.

I've gotten it a couple of times recently and both times I would say they were somewhere between jump distance and full screen. Though tbh this brutal shouldn't have any restrictions since this move barely hits as is

I have been playing Shao since release and I only got this brutal a handful of times. Frost is actually a good kameo for it, but the best way to do it is to use the orb when your opponent has very little health left. The orb is good to keep the opponent at distance and the slam does good chip damage so you can get it even when the opponent is blocking

Good grief… i don’t think i’ve seen him hate something in MK so much before! 😧 but, understandably so. Yea, i’d like to know if anyone in the NRS studio was even able to pull that off and think they got something good here 🤔 Idk… maybe you, or your Kameo would have to knock your opponent far away as a combo ender, and then use the attack JUST as your opponent is getting back to their feet with 1hp left so it connects correctly? ( just brainstorming )
