like those use by Loxjie, SMSL, Fx audio and ither. I think there are dev board MERUS on the bench which maybe the next topic. if its interesting than revival of dny40W class AB.. class D not many can do DIY but class AB everyone can

I woder how denon's implementation compares on the bench. They did an interesting AVR receiver few years ago based on these. "HEOS AVR 5.1"

i switched to infineon class D amplifiers for my design. it seems that ti lagged in development regarding audio. they kept on sucking out good companies to consolidate a product line. i used Analog devices DSP and infineon's class d ic including it's BTL class D.

thanks for you reviews. I get the 3251 next week. why don't you use bigger coolers or fans to keep temperatures safe?

thank you for your nice comment and suggestions. I do not make any modification just test as is, as per design of the board coming out from the China market. Yes! Using an exhaust fan can help on the temperature issue when use the TP325x series at high power. The exhaust fan may induce a kind of "fan noise" specially at low volume, or when using at bed time, a temperature sensor that control the fan may help on this.

I also had some tda's before. they sound warmer but with some inductor noise behind. tpa's run quite hot. my 3116 now too. the cheap changx cap there bulged after 2 weeks so I think the nichicon fine gold was a good replacement there. The sound changed too with the cap.

thanks for the info. If the board is coming out from the China market normally would not run into a standard manufacturing test or Reliability, its nice you get it work with the right caps. congratulations!
