ITV2 - Start-up, late 1998/early 1999 

It’s Wednesday on ITV2, and Rachel is your in vision announcer preceding an afternoon of repeats. Not a great deal to say about this clip, this was the era when ITV2 began at 4:00pm on weekdays having broadcast nothing but a caption from 9:25am.
In vision was axed by the end of 1999 and all announcements were out of vision. Continuity came courtesy of LNN. It’s worth noting that ITV2’s idents were available in 16:9 from day one, however this could only be seen if you were watching via On Digital. Here, the signal is relayed to cable and all output is in 4:3 or 4:3 cutout if a 16:9 programme was being shown.
