We apologize if anyone took us laughing in a wrong way. We laughed at the comments each other were making, not at the video itself. We didn't want to cry so we laughed. The plot is "the box", officially credited as "the cube" lol, is hunting down and exterminating/getting rid of ppl with disabilities. Tae is blind in his right eye, and IU is deaf. The camcorder shows them a glimpse of their lives if they were "normal".
The box was hunting them down because it was exterminating marginalized people with disabilities. The pile of clothes is reminiscent of the piles of clothes of Holocaust victims who were exterminated. IU was deaf and mute, and Taehyung was blind in one eye, which is why they were being hunted. When they looked through the camera, they were able to see each other without their disabilities and were able to enjoy food even though they were hungry. At the end the cube found them and they were back to reality. IU covered Taehyung's eye so he wouldn't have to see what was about to happen to them. After they died, their clothes were added to the pile of the other victims. Despite this, they were together until the end, which is why it is called Love Wins All.

Tae & IU both nailed it ❤Nd I think it's NOT abt IU protecting Tae and they're representing them both just as couple in a love story.... the MV has more deeper meaning like Celebrites / artists like them in the entertainment industry judged by ppl/fans / haters abt their personal choices in love life IU ( her charecter is deaf in the MV) representing ppl in love the ones who don't want HEAR what the society /fans tell them wrong and right abt their Love life Taehyung (his character is partialy blind) representing True/pure LOVE = Love doesn't need to be perfect it just need to be TRUE or LOVE IS BLIND ( Tae showing almost every emotions of LOVE : Fear , cuteness , pure , tender , Joyful /playful , togetherness . helplessness , bravery , rage , calmness...in 5 min MV Dammnn!! You all watched it again after filming, and we balled our eyes out. 😭 We were really excited and tick tock kept spoiling some scenes for us, so we were really excited to film this. I guess we were just really giddy at the time.😂

Please do not make fun or try to shame someone who cries different then you. Laughing in a serious moment like this is called a trauma response. Especially when in a group of friends.. You laugh, so you don't cry. My family was full of disfunction & trauma. I remember once being forced to a family counseling session where they monitored us for some time behind a one way mirror. Their only comment when they came in was "what a funny family you are" . Truth was,, we were broken & hurt. we joked and laughed because it was a trauma response to an unknown situation. If we look at this video and realize, this was a blind reaction. We see all of these girls struggle with tears and trying to understand what they just witnessed. There were definitely tears being shed from everyone here. And I was crying along with them!
yet you see them wiping tears dont you? when you are with friends sometimes its hard to be serious and cry....they are acting in the music video and while its very sad...your acting as if it actually happened...its just a music video and it was absolutely amazing but not everyone is gonna bawl their eyes out
