This my understanding of the MV. It's an alien invasion. V is blind on his right eye, and I think IU is deaf. They may be the last 2 people who are trying to survive. They see each other beautiful and perfect through the video lens. They even got married in their own way. The vows til death do us part plays here, only death didn't part them. They died together 😢 It was a BEAUTIFUL song and the best mv I have ever seen.

V is half blind IU is mute and deaf And the cube is the society 😭 And the cam corder is their own world imagining that they can live freely without concerning the toxic society 😭💔

The camera world isn't that great, if you look carefully. This mv is more a commentary about the present times (esp. in Korea), against a dystopian backdrop. Ultimately, we only have love, which luckily is a tangible powerful thing.
