My mom passed ten years ago on Oct. 17th....this has been a 10 year depression for me to. Its normal to got through from time to time but when your in a constant void of sorrow being contained by emptiness.....that is hell. I'm not saying people havent had it worse than me but I swear ill be able to understand and relate. It changes and stengthens you like nothing you ever thought possible. I was at the gym 4 years ago when this song played on a christian hip hop station I was listening to on Pandora. I broke down crying and had to leave the gym. I searched and searched for the name of this artist for 4 years and now I have finally found him!! The lyrics to this song hit every crevice of my soul 4 years ago. This song is exactly how I been feeling for a long time. I suffer from “high functioning anxiety”. I have days that I just feel so worthless and exhausted some days feel invincible. All days I feel alone. I have never openly admitted it to my family or friends because I have a pretty dang good successful life. Loving family, great job, 3 college degrees. Don’t have a reason to feel these things but it’s never really enough to feel whole or complete. I keep telling myself that if I continue working and being successful sooner or later it will pass.

I don’t know how, but every song I’ve heard, by Ivan B, the lyrics, the tone, the rhythm, all of it, just resonates in my soul, my being so much that it brings me to tears, because I feel the pain, and it brings a little joy, because i know someone else, knows what I feel every day.
