Guhle is very underrated offensively. He has more even strength points through 2 NHL seasons than Jake Saunderson, in far fewer games. But he gets no PP time because they need him on this ice against top opposing forwards, and on the PK, without overworking him. As he matures and is able to play more minutes, his point totals will surprise.

dmen get paid the big bucks to put up offensive numbers. the fact his offense is suppressed will allow habs to get him signed for a cheaper contract than sanderson

Because Chicago's organization is trying to build a team that can win 3 more cups and giving away a premium pick is not the way to do it? What would Montreal have to offer for Chicago to even consider moving off the pick?

@@rgood1204 Very seldom, a rebuilding team will trade away a top2 pick. By keeping the pick, Chicago makes sure they are exactly getting the player they want. I am sure Chicago and most teams top5 must have rec'd several very good offers for their picks...but rebuiding teams just don't trade top5 picks !!!

Makes me laugh that tony still believes Lane Hutson is 5’7… guy is 5’10 sure he’s not heavy obviously but he’s not 5’7… LITERALLY taller than Gallagher on the ice but Tony says he’s 5’7.

Demidov doesn’t get past CBJ. Waddell has drafted and built around Kovalchuk and Svechnikov in the past.

Chicago needs a D more than a winger BUT what prospect pool does chicago have to trade to get a dman? Nazar won't bring in a Levshunov or Dickinson.. I think this is a rare time drafting for need is the better option

I can see the Blue Jackets taking Demidov if he is there. He fits right in with Marchenko, Tarasov, Chinakov, Voronkov…..needless to say they don’t mind drafting Russian players.

Guhle can improve to 30-35 points next season while playing against the best players in the league. Matheson will be 55-60 points. I think Hutson can realistically put up 40-45 next season.

I would only take Buium if demidov is gone. Everything he brings to the table is exactly what Montreal wants. If those 2 are gone before 5th pick, then I will be happy with whomever they pick.

Demidov. Inginla buium. Forwards I want demidov but would love to get both sennecke and inginla and Buium would be historic draft. We have many pieces to trade picks or players to make this happen now.

Saw comments in the chat about the Chicago and Anaheim GMs going to Florida to meet Demidov. But that’s not all - not only was Kyle Davidson in Florida, but the Blackhawks owner, Danny Wirtz, went down there to meet him.
