I was at this fight and it was closer than the score cards. I had it scored 96 - 93 Baranchyk, when scoring it live. I just watched it on here and scored it the same again. Ellis Johnson was the only judge who had it right with 97 - 93. He scored the 3rd round even because each fighter was knocked down. I scored it 10 - 9 Ramos, because he won the round before being knocked down, then he put Baranchyk down. IMO that is a 10 - 9 round for Ramos, but I do see why Johnson scored it even. Great fight no matter how it was scored!
Ramos is one He-- of a fighter! Championship material! If Baranchyk can learn to measure some of his punches, he will win easier! He likes to fight, but if he settles down and fights more intelligently, his punches will land cleaner! I hope Ramos's Mom did not watch the fight because there was "Killer" intent in there!

Umm...yeah the running up and putting your weight on people is not cool. It’s kinda dirty. Plus he is head butting, throwing people off balance then hitting them to make it look like a know down.
I go to the same gym as baranchyk. We had problems with each other. We were sparring body only and i talk shit when i fight. He had 12 ounce gloves on. We were going body only as hard as we could. We went at it 20 minutes without stopping. The whole time i was calling ivan a bitch, he hits like a woman, hes a pussy and a fake champion so he sucker punched me as hard as he could with an overhand right and dropped me. I got up immediately but he split my eyebrow wide open. I was pouring blood. I had to get 8 stitches
Gringo del sur damn dude. Its totally opposed in the ramos gym. Theres a few pros but everyone respects each other. Only thing is that Jesus Ramos, abel ramos’s nephew is undefeated and hes getting a little cocky if that makes sense. Very good boxer tho ill give him that.

A terrible decision. I think even Baranchyk was surprised. Ramos outboxed the rushing Baranchyk catching him as he came in with lefts and rights to the head throughout the fight. Baranchyk's cave-man style however upset Ramos who got caught and put down several times from wild swings, ending the fight with swelling under both eyes - Baranchyk had a swelling under his left eye.
Gave it to Baranchyk. Ramos was doing very well first half of the fight but Baranchyks style wore Ramos done in the second half. This fight was very close and IMO Baranchyk stole the last round in the last 20 seconds. Otherwise would have scored this as a draw.
The only reason ivan won was from all those shots to the back of Ramos head. If the ref would have deducted points for that Ramos would have won due to superior boxing skill. It was a good fight but also painful to see all those uncalled shots to the back Ramos head.
