@@Chris_t0 Wait until you find out how many times he filed for bankruptcy. He was also given a billion dollars from his daddy (if you account for inflation today) and Trump did an excellent job of losing most of it with all his failed businesses including casinos.
Trump never filed for bankruptcy, several companies he owned did but that is different. Look at any successful company and you will see failed biz's closed within it, each will sometimes bankrupt while others just close or are sold.
I remember first learning about wealth in high school, not through courses but thorough shows and perception. It led me to discover this Born Rich Documentary. I saw a lot of what these kids saw growing up as I was treated as very high status in school because of who my family is and parents were well respected too. I wondered why me a lot of the time and began to look for answers that's what got me into learning about wealth. My family had served for centuries in various wars including the Revolutionary war 1776-1781, WW1 1914-1918 (American involvement 1917-1918), WW2 1939-1945 (American involvement 1941-1945) Korean war 1950-1953. I have family that have established businesses as well. My Military family members held high ranks in leadership positions. I realize other people have family that have done all those things too which is why I wondered why it was me getting all this treatment and attention, I liked it, still receive it (especially after my college senate tenure), and still like it. But I couldn't stop wondering why it was me and not someone else. I discovered more and more over the years and gradually understood why I am the way I am and why people think of me, and others like me, the way they do. I use to think that wealth was all about money when really its more about connection, adding value through skills you have, spiritual fitness, and personality. Today I work in environmental services and intend to lead the field. I intend to improve the health of cities and towns across the country and in other countries as well. I served an internship with a nature center this year and intend to do so next year. I, as mentioned previously, served on college senate and transformed the campus. My first team named the mascot and with my third team I established an award to recognize the faculty and staff for what they do for the students called Student Choice Awards. Looking back I completely understand now and it reinforces that I have learned the right things about real wealth and real power.

I live in a wealthy area. There are some kids who are from billionaire family. There's one mum who is an heiress. She is divorced and her daughter was team up with my son in a school play. We had to buy costume. The other mums bought and asked for money back. It wasn't a lot of money so I said it's fine, I will order and pay as there are only 2 kids with that particular costume. Then a week before the play, her nanny asked another mum to get her something. I then said our costume is sorted as I have given it to the girl's mum. The nanny said the mum didn't tell her and she lost the costume so I said I had a spare set and I can lend it to them. They never returned the costume. This hasn't happen in my dealings with the other mums. The mum has not worked and she said she has mental issues. She was always yawning in midday when we were having afternoon tea together. She doesn't look after her kids and is hardly seen at school. We went to the girl's birthday at their home, they didn't organise any activities. I didn't know they are wealthy. They had a man who was the nanny and he cooked for us. He had tattoo all over his arms. One parent was surprised the party was so disorganised and they didn't even have enough party bags for the kids. I was then told she is from such a wealthy family but the party is probably the worse in the class. The kids just ran around the house even into the master bedroom. Whereas we normally have fairies or face painters or bouncy castle etc if it's a party at home. Or we would invite the kids to a play area etc. I'm not calculating with money so I gifted them the costume but I hope I'm not trying to kiss their ass because they are rich. She also asked me to mention to school board about our schools security saying she wants cctv and alarms put in. The principal actually listened and got a price from suppliers. But, she didn't want to pay for it so she just wasted everyone's time. We do functions and receive donations, I think she was hoping we will fund it... but in the schools history, we have many prominent families and never needed the extra security she suggested. Mind you, this is also a non-private school. It's just a government school in an expensive area of town. I know another person from another billionaire family, they are nicer than this one... but I find normal less well off family are usually a lot more generous and nicer to hang around with.
@@steph4922 That is really interesting, thank you for sharing! It is true that more normalized families are nicer to be around. I've seen that a lot with people. Usually well off kids get into the trap of thinking they are better than others since they have more. Then they keep most of what they have to themselves since they don't think others will accept it or want it. One thing they often miss is that they have been bestowed their life so they can be better to others. I've missed that part before too. They often don't learn how to be better to people since they think theirs a divide because they have more at their disposal than the other kids do. I've fallen into that trap as well. Though a lot of people have helped me thankfully. I remember I thought their was a divide due to me having more chances and more privileges than the others growing up. I've been forgiven by them for that thankfully. Then during the pandemic of 2020 I learned the warnings that come with wealth, it cannot save you from death, no amount of wealth can buy your way out of the grave; you cannot bribe the angles or saints to let you live longer than what your allowed. It doesn't define you, it cannot make you faster smarter or stronger than another person. And unfortunately, you can't take it with you even after you go. I wish I would have been taught that as a kid. I wish more people knew those warnings about wealth. Then it would make it easier to use it the right way as more would be cautious about the usage. It would of course have to be combined with teaching that people care as that is another thing that gets people in the trap of thinking they are better than because they have more. It also can cause kids to want to do gangster stuff or steal and belittle people. Again I thank you for sharing your story with me, stay blessed.
