i’ve read somewhere that the opening sequence is actually referring to “back when tigers used to smoke”, cos koreans like to say that as their ‘once upon a time’ line when opening a legend/ old stories. and the fact that the whole Mv is a folklore concept with the way they deliver it with this hella cool concept is brilliant. the song also sounds amazingggg! this is one of their best comeback everr 🥹🫶🏻

I had no high expectations for IVE comeback after Baddie tbh, because it wasn’t my cup of tea, but omg I love Heya so much! I’m even more curious to hear Accendio since a lot of people say it’s even better than Heya?? But I’m going to wait for the MV, want to be surprised 🤞 thank you for the reaction!

아이브의 이번 mv컨셉이 한국의 고전 동화를 모티브로 만들었는데 한국 전래 동화에는 호랑이와 해가 자주 등장해요.. 항상 동화는 옛날 옛적에 호랑이 담배 피던 시절에...로 시작됩니다..^^ 그래서 노래 시작 부분에 유진이 담배 파이프를 들고 있고 레이가 랩을 할 때 입에서 담배 연기 같은 게 보입니다.. 노래 제목인 heya=sun이고 멤버들은 호랑이로 표현되는데 ' 해를 삼킨 호랑이' 라는 동화가 있는데 mv 중간 중간에 호랑이(멤버), 구슬 (해)가 표현되니 이해 하시고 보시면 더 재미 있을 겁니다..^^ *참고로 mv초반에 호랑이 그림자가 보이고 손이 나오는 장면은 '햇님 달님'이라는 동화 중에 호랑이가 떡을 팔러 가던 엄마를 잡아먹고 그래도 배가 고파서 아이들이 있는 집에 가서 문을 열어 달라고 했는데 똑똑한 아이들이 엄마의 목소리가 이상해서 손을 보여 달라고 하는 부분입니다.. 이런 식으로 여러 동화의 부분 부분을 캐치 해서 만든 mv입니다..^^

yes me too IVE is one of my favorite groups still active with Dreamcatcher, A-pink, Blackpink, SNSD, Lesserafim and (G)Idle. and it's my favorite 4th gen group without a problem. They are not only popular and talented, they regularly break records and will undoubtedly become for me one of the most successful female kpop groups in the history of kpop. recently they became the second female kpop group with the most cumulative sales after twice with to date more than 8 million albums sold in just 2 and a half years Twice has 13 million sales in 9 years. IVE also has an impressive number of music show wins and a lot of awards and they also just took 3rd place in terms of ticket sales during their first world tour after Blackpink and Twice. - for references to oriental culture are obviously the white tiger and oriental clothing and motifs, I haven't yet watched their comeback showcase but I'm sure they will tell us more during this showcase. surprised to see Lesseo Rapper, it's the member who stands out the most in this song for me. I think the girls want to highlight her because for some reason that I have trouble understanding, Lesseo is the least popular member of the group despite her role as "maknae". everyone, me first, always focuses on Yujin and Wonyoung, Rei is also very popular as well as Gaeul Lizz and Lesseo come last. - last thing DG usually you pronounce Wonyoung's name correctly but since the first episode deb Produce 48 you are wrong and you call her Wooyoung - je pense que c'est la pré release Acciendo sera probablement leurs title track un MV devrait arriver plus tard ce mois si .

Hello, Daniel. This is one of IVE fans from Korea. I've followed IVE since I had watched which Yujin captured my eyes with her lively attitude. To my shame, I hadn't listened any songs of IVE until was released. Why? I am too old to pay attention to so called IDOL. Since then, I have watched all of IVE contents which are released on RU-vid. I happened to know first time there are tons of MV reaction clips on RU-vid at that time. MV reaction clips are as precious as IVE's MV itself, because there is no one around me I can talked about IVE together. I believe people want to talk about what they are interested in and you are the one to me that I can share what I feel watching IVE MV. I don't know your background but I'm sure you are(or had been) in video business. It's always astonishing what you showed at 1st reaction clips and interpreting all the metaphor and symbols in IVE MV. Happy to find out there is a person who feels same thing as I feel on IVE MV. I've wanted to say thank you for it. Thank you again and please keep doing what you are doing. As for pronunciation of Gaeul, why don't you put 'FALL' or 'AUTUMN' on interpretation App. and run the speaking icon. That's how you can pronounce Gaul's name exactly. ^^ Be well.

My bias in this group has been and always will be Liz and I am super happy that little by little they are giving her time on camera and more lines. because he honestly has an incredible voice and talent. I hope they continue to give him more screen time and more lines.

The music video is very obviously full of Chinese element but some exist in a very unusual way Chinese people using it. Such as the knot are normally in red for China but in Korea they are white. Except for that, some of the colour scheme and the mountain has an old donghua vibe. The cloud, pipe, copper coin pattern, exists for a long time and are used a lot in contemporary Chinese artwork. TBH the song is really good, but the culture appropriation indeed exists
