We ended up watching the Secret Number video on our own time, so there won't be a reaction to it. I think it was a good song and I'm a big fan of the group but I don't see it being my favorite song from them
I love *IVE.* I love their music. I love their concept. Their music is iconic. I love their songs/tracks. Their songs/tracks are great. Their discography is flawless. Their title tracks and B-SIDES are really good. Their MVs are top-tier. Their singing is awesome. Their dancing is amazing. Their rapping is dope.
Two Iz*one members to be exact. Yujin and Wonyoung. Yujin has been killing it on the show Earth Arcade. She has been doing a good job of keeping up with the rest of the cast who are pretty wild. I wish Starship would spend some of Ive's budget on producing more than 2 songs at a time. It is a shame that they have had 3 releases, but only 6 songs. We are supposed to be getting some interaction between their sister group I believe later this week as WJSN members are currently hosting a show on Naver for the next few weeks and Ive will be their first proper guests (the first episode was just all the WJSN members).
I knew it was at least 1, sadly i havent really gotten to know the individual members and its been a while since i watched produce 48 (i also think it wasnt the greatest at highlighting the girls to help an ppl especially an international audience to remember names). It does suck to only get a couple songs at a time, hopefully they will start doing more EPs or albums I think its cool how much they all get to know each other and even when not in same agencies they have friends in different groups
The sample of I Will Survive was iconic, kpop doesn't usually do pure samples, I know Jewelry One More Time, and Wonder Girls with Tell Me, I'm sure there might be a few others but usually you just get a song that mimics another and makes it their own. So it was very cool to see this sample. I do have 2 issues with IVE, A where is the album, they gave us 3 single albums and yet no mini yet 👀 seems ridiculous. When SiSTAR debuted they did the same thing their debut year and dropped 3 single albums and then the following year they released a "full length" album which just included all their single album songs plus a few new ones. So I hope they get something soon. And B, why are their singles all under 3 mins, I know it's best to keep it short n sweet but geez I want more ya know? Hopefully starship fixes this 😔
the no EP or album thing seems to be ppls biggest complaint with the group... so i guess people wanting more is a good problem to have... and maybe thats what they are going for. In a way releasing 2 songs at a time, if done 3 times in the same period that other groups are doing 1 ep.. it kinda adds up to be about the same (at least thats what im telling myself to not also want more lmao)
We checked out a couple of their songs, they seem super talented, but their vibe was way too young for us.. they seem to be directed at teens or a younger audience than we are.. I'll for sure keep an eye on them, I know they are blowing up
I Will Survive. Is That's right. The song is a song at the time of change to color TV, and it fits the meaning of this song to be dyed with Ive's color. And "I Will Surv ive"!!!!
They sampled I will survive and they weren't trying to hide it. IVE is the only group I've followed from debut and loved everything they've done. The vibe, disco and retro mixed with kpop, is chefs kiss everytime I hear it. They push aespa as the monster group and I don't disagree but IVE is right there and I think more suited for the International audience imo. They've already established themselves as a legit elite tier group. Great reaction 🙌👍
I tried checking them out, they seem great but they also seem to be directed towards a younger audience than I am. I'll keep an eye on them tho, I like their style so far
