it's always a good idea to bring up some examples why you think US trucks are better. There are reasons why European trucks are the way they are, e.g. a US truck just wouldn't be able to make turns in a 1000 to 2000 year old city center, or in the Norwegian mountains. And don't forget that we have extreme weather conditions just like in northern America
HAHA thats why Volvo do some good bussines in the usa with VN series... i know its developed in the usa butt still its european :D :D And americans are very impressed if there trucks towing 30 tonnes of cargo but meanwhile here in europe is 45 tonnes or more just bussines as usual.....
@Charlie Brand haha you are for cyrcus😂😂i pass over the most of the scanias with my eurostar.and i dont need to replace everything in the engine like scanias myst every 700.000km;-)you must be stupid or blind if you don't see broken scania on the side of the road🤣🤣
szia a king of the road ugyan nem le védett szlogen, viszont csak a scania v8 sorozatot illeti!mivel 69-ben amikor elő rukkoltak a 140-essel,14.2 literes v8-assal 350 lóerővel ez volt a reklám szlogen.ettől még nem rossz autó az iveco!egy évet billencseztem egy 19.380-as turbostarral.széles utat benzinkutat!
You maybe right about me not reading your second comment. But my statement re the percentage of Americans who hold foreign passports is a pretty well known fact. True, I can't remember a source to back it up..but it said the percentage was around 6%. You'd never believe it..but I admire America and its history so I don't understand why the US transport industry is so far behind in many respects compared to Europe. I guess I put it down to insulation from the innovation of other countries.
America don't need any help in doing that - just look at the shocking ignorance displayed by many Americans towards other countries and their 'different' ways of doing things. I'm afraid most of America's 'bad rap' is self inflicted. I feel bad for you.
insomma questo nuovo iveco e' nato nella vecchia sede holandese dove naque l holding iveco ineternational ,veiculi ,corporation ...........................non vedo l ora di vederlo dal vivo
Oh I know I was just being sarcastic. I use to be a truck driver and never liked any of the trucks I've drove (Mack being the worst truck I ever drove). Euro trucks have more power and better fuel efficiency and from what I've seen better equipped.
ma perke non il fate con la cabina "lunga" (per esempio i trucks americani) visto il tempo ke ci passiamo sù, non mi dite per il codice della strada, quello non è la bibbia e sapete come sormontare il problema !!
The difference between Europe and America is huge in Technology. In Trucks is going further. Diesel in Europe is way more advanced higher cetane number and lower sulfur vs US. US is conservative vs Europe modern and liberal. The brakes are more advanced in Europe etc. US is treating Europe as trial place for the technology and after some time in the improved version comes to US. US puts on the proven technology vs Europe at the beggining stage. This situations have pros and cons.
And i'd bet my last penny that you are one of those Americans in the large majority of Americans who do not hold a foreign passport. Time you had a look over the garden wall buddy.
realy? You dont want to come to Norwagian mountain roads at winter. with one of those. You will get huge problems with a truck like that, if you have a european truck and are good at driving you will come threw without problems. Norwagian trukers are real truckers.
dont be stupid! What do you even do not own engine? surplus large nose, cab! high fuel consumption! double differential! tires too much?my truck rolling on12 tires! low load weight! 36300kg! min 40MT in Europe!we loading naturally -no official-36-38 MTON! 3 axles tipper trailer, 2 axles Scania tractor gross 50ton.fuel 29 lit/100km. = 0.122gall/1miles!scania 12 years old euro2 11705ccm inline6 cyl,420 hp!This is an American would never do it!
