Phillip “how many planets” Callie “um....59”? Phillip “close, 8!” 😹😹😹 that really made me chuckle! This reminds me so much of when I had to have a hysterectomy, my two boys were 3 & 6 and we set up their little table & chairs in my room and we had family dinners together. They thought it was so much fun! I’m praying this all goes to plan and that sweet Cassidy will be a big sister ❤️

When you were talking about missing certain moments when the kids are grown, I can tell you that you absolutely will. I have 3 daughters, all grown and raising their own families. I often think how I would give anything to have each of them be little again, even just for 5 minutes, so I could hold them in my arms again. Parents today are so blessed to have the ability to record their kids on video. I would dearly love to have a recording of my girls when they were little so I could hear how their voices sounded! As much as I enjoy my girls as adults, there are times when it hits me, and I realize just how fast time truly does fly, and I think those things. So yes, you are going to miss these days! Cherish ever second!

The internet is no place for children to be on. All their privacy gone. Waking up every morning with a camera in your face. Great. Bullies at school will love that. Poor kids. Put the camera away from your child’s face.

Hi, I went through IVF in the mid 2000's & was back at work the day after transfer. It's interesting that some women are advised to have bed rest for up to 4 days after transfer, because I was never given that advice. From memory I was advised to take it easy for the rest of the day, not to take hot baths & not to do any heavy lifting. Sadly I ended up having a chemical pregnancy. My other embryos were frozen & transferred later, to no avail. I feel blessed I was able to have my son, now 30, because so many good couples out there can't have children. Sadly I lost my 2nd son in the second trimester. I wish you both all the very best for this transfer, you have a beautiful family & lifestyle, bless 💗

Phillip’s comment about “wet gluey balls all over me” almost made me spit my water out! 🤣 The other line that made me laugh until tears came was when Phillip was explaining why he would not be getting appreciated for teacher appreciation week, then says “oh good. It’s so interesting to hear about different transfer experiences. I did one (same time you did Cassidy and had our son) and then two others this fall (one successful transfer:)). All three times the doctors just said to take it easy but no bed rest needed. We traveled home which was 4.5 hours away. Praying for you and your family for a successful transfer.
@dancer11rules
@dancer11rules 2 года назад
Same experience. My RE said really the absolute best thing you can do and they see the nost successs with is continue to move around as normally as possible (within reason) because the blood flow is optimal for implantation. He said sometimes our bodies don't like any big change from normal behavior. He also explained the biggest reason bedrest is advised in some cases is because if you are on bedrest then it is less likely something crazy will happen like get in a car crash, fall down a flight of stairs, etc. If something like that happens it doesn't necessarily means that transfer won't work, but if it doesn't then you will always wonder and blame yourself. He explained all this because I was put on bedrest due to a very large SCH at 6 weeks and basically sent home with a less 50% of baby staying attached to the uterus over the weekend. Fortunately at my next appointment baby was still growing and was to continue bedrest and I explained to him that on several occasions I had to break bedrest "rules" to tend to my 14 month old or older tasks. That is when he explained the real reason behind bedrest for my case and some doctors recommendation after a transfer and that none of those things I was doing would hurt me or baby, but really it was just to help minimize some major accident happening to my body.

There’s anecdotal evidence that dogs can sense early pregnancy. I’ve seen many stories from people who’ve reported that their dogs knew they were pregnant before they did! That their dogs kept close to them, especially when in bed, and then a week or so later they find out they are pregnant. It’s a great sign! Chloe is such a sweet dog. I think there’s a reason you got Chloe when you did and your IVF cycle in January had to be postponed. Emily needed you and you didn’t even know that yet. Emily needed Chloe who wouldn’t leave her side as she would’ve sensed the cancer (dogs have been scientifically shown to be able to detect such things, they’re just incredible with their noses!) and I’m certain provided her with comfort as you all would have. I’m sure Emily was relieved that Chloe would be with you guys when she knew she couldn’t stay long and passed away knowing she’d been truly loved and that her family would be ok with Chloe. I’m sure she’s looking over you during this process. It wouldn’t have been good for you to have been so distressed in early pregnancy by her loss if you’d transferred in January as originally planned. You look so happy and you’re truly glowing Alex. You have a genetically normal embryo of reasonable grade (which doesn’t say as much as the genetics, except for the outer layer which was the highest grade) and developing well and you’re doing everything you can. You’re not going to shake it loose now or anything, especially after 24 hours of good bed rest. There’s really nothing you can do or not do to cause this embryo to implant or not. Take it easy of course but good blood flow is also important for early foetal health so it’s ok to move around some. I’m sure you’ve found a happy middle ground. I think it has worked but if not please don’t blame yourself Alex (though I know mom guilt it seriously tough). You’ve done everything you can. You all have.

Chloe is such a good dog! She's settled in so well it's like she's always been there. 'Papoo' is what we called my grandfather, pronounced the same as Cassidy's papu. I thought I was hearing things when you said it. He was a quadriplegic for almost 3 decades before he passed and he was such a fountain of knowledge. It seems there are reminders of him everywhere, including your video. ♥️

Gosh I wish I had the luxury of bed rest after I got pregnant with my daughter. I was running a 33 bedded acute surgical ward and did a 14 1/2 hour shift. Didn’t stop my embryo embedding. I do find Americans very precious people.There is another family I watch and they’ve got children that are four years old still have afternoon naps! What’s that all about. In the UK our children go to school at the age of four and the idea of an afternoon nap while they’re at school makes me laugh… That would never happen!

Tip for next time, sit the balloons in a plant pot like an egg cup. Tell them to hold the balloon on the top and leave that spot until last. As for glue you don't need it. All you need is water and flour mixed to a thinnish batter consistency. Use thick paint brushes to apply onto the ballon and paper if they don't want to use their hands. Less mess, less stress and all washable. 🙂

So happy for y’all. I’ve got a Great Dane/ lab 127 lbs and a Husky/Pyrenees 110 lbs. my amazing human my love of 35 years died unexpectedly and our dogs have been such comforts and have given me purpose. They have also grieved so hard and again such comforts. So hard to believe that I’ll be 60 soon. We couldn’t have kids and my first dog was with my husband and was a Golden. Sorry for the lost of sweet Emily. Bella our Dane will be 12 in April and I can’t bear the thought of losing her. She will be in Heaven with my sweet husband and all of our other Angel fur lovies. Thanks for always making me laugh and cry, happy and sad. Both dogs are asleep in our California King with me. Love from the North North Georgia Mountains. Xxoo

When my son was little he always called the pacifier his "tap." When our second child came along, we naturally called it the tap and instilled that name as the default! Funny how our children create their own languages and some things just stick!

Do not feel guilty and take 3 days of rest and the important thing is not to carry anything and do not pick up things from the floor
