I ordered the iview Maximus 11.6" instead! I will make a review of it. I has double the internal storage, non detachable keyboard that flips over which I think would be better, and full windows! I hopefully I can install android remix and dual boot with windows! Its only $50 more online at walmart!
Im only using evernote, web browser and netflix... So which one should I buy?? The RCA Galileo 11.5, RCA Viking PRO 10.1 with marshmallow or this iView u just showed?? And does the viking pro 10.1 have a right and left click on the mouse pad? I really value ur opinion so any help would be great.. Thanks for your time!!
What would make it a real contender is if the RAM and the SD could be upgraded? Any ideas? I would think the SD would be but it might be locked in with 2 gb RAM which would be a major selling point. Do you know if those 2 storage points are upgradeable?
I researched the processor Allwinner A64[4] (sun50i) 4 x Cortex-A53 CPU-core should be running better than it appeared, but maybe it is the remix os not optimized for the chipset ...I just ordered the 11.6 inch Unison ...going to try it out, its very different from what i've seen available....and the price is right.
Should also be mentioned that the iView Gemini tablet supports USB OTG which adds to its value. Anyone know if this table comes rooted? Other iView tablets have come natively rooted, just needing to install SuperSU.
Thank you for your review I think I'm gonna give this thing a chance for $92 now. I just want something for browsing and for using Kodi so the fact it has HDMI out if perfect. how's it been holding up over the last month?
I wouldn't get the RCA Viking Pro at all. rca tablets have know problems and i had 2 with problems not charging and stuff. I had the Gallerio Pro for my g'son too and just returned! it was stuck on a the screen with the word Gallerio Pro and would not do anything even after trying to reset it on the back. just review any rca tablets u may think you like before buying one. there is a review on u tube too if you want to check it out. good luck!
hate to break it to you, but 2 gig of ram on a Windows laptop, is not that the much, windows requires a lot of ram and storage to run, as its a much bigger operating system while Android doesn't take much RAM. but 2 gig on a Windows, isn't much.
TheGoldenWolf Yeah because it has a better gpu than this one, RAM would make you be able to keep more have open than before and can make transitioning smoother instead of the application crashing in the background
Underground Tech I wouldn't pay more for a tablet that has less performance because it has 2gbs of ram... I wish company's would improve not only in some areas, it would be so much better if this tablet had a 1.4ghz processor, and 32gbs of onboard storage, that would be a great selling point, even would get rid of the Viking Pro for that
TheGoldenWolf totally agree with you, but have a fast gpu and cpu. I'm gonna make a list on 10 things I wanna see on a $100 tablet cuz there's so much room for improvement
Underground Tech yeah, If only a compony would then take those ideas and provide the perfect tablet for under $100... any chance of that ever happaning? not really, and it kind of sucks...
Try reviewing this one. It has Remix os (basically Android on steroids) but it's a 2 in 1 laptop! iView Unison 11.6" Laptop, Touchscreen, 2-in-1, Remix OS 2.0, Quad-Core Processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash Storage www.walmart.com/ip/iView-Unison-11.6-Laptop-Touchscreen-2-in-1-Remix-OS-2.0-Quad-Core-Processor-1GB-RAM-16GB-Flash-Storage/54167140
True, but being a laptop instead of a detachable kinda suits more people don't you think? Like some customers would prefer the bigger screen. But bro, great videos! I was looking at that tablet a couple of days earlier and you made a video, a coincidence? lol
