Oh I like you!!! I looked it up and there is no such animal as a "stolen sculpt". You can copyright realism. So you can't own a sculpt. So no one can steal one. If someone could own generic features that might be found on any human being , it would shut down all artistic expression. Plus they are A-okay with their favorite artist crafting Avatar dolls are copyright protected. So stealing and copyright infringement is okay as long as an artist in their community does it. There is a word for that. Oh that is right, hypocrite.
@@pippadawg7037 Yes you can! Reborns take days and sometimes a month to sculpt. There is such thing as stealing a sculpts you need to properly learn about something before you try and say "There's no such thing as a stolen sculp".Stealing a sculp is taking something someone else made and you take credit if you made the Mona Lisa would you like other ppl taking creds? No you wouldn't it's the same for this.
I think she's adorable! So cute! 🤗 I received an Ivita full body silicone 9 days ago that I won on bid from Ebay for $130.00. The total was $136.89. Mine is a little boy, bald with blue eyes. He doesn't look quite like her. He's 20" and weighs about 7 pounds 3 ounces. I couldn't be happier! 😊I was very pleasantly surprised when I got him. I can't say much for the box which was a plain brown box. He has the seam lines on the sides of his body and a spot on the top of his head where he was poured but these flaws are minimal and like you, I don't care! I love him! I'm disabled and can't pay $2,000 + for a higher end doll. I named him Seth and I already adore him so much! ❤💙💚.I apologize for the long comment!

Wow, you did well. The eBay prices are amazing. That is where I have gotten my Vollence too, but I paid a bit more. You got a great deal. I love that name Seth. I let my 5 year old granddaughter name my doll. She came up with Rosie and I instantly liked it. She told me, "That is a good name for a baby. I have heard of babies called Rosie." I thought that was cute. I wish we could have play dates! I wonder if anyone does that with their dolls.

❤ I bought one, Got mine off of eBay. I used it as the first time painting silicone dolls after doing reborn doll painting for 20 years. I’ve had a blast, I’ve sculpted the eyes re sculpted the mouth. Very fun 😊. There is no reason why we all can’t buy and be happy with whatever we want 🎉 I love the way their (this brand) heads flop and the way their bodies feel in our arms. ❤
I love the silicone reborns. Have you seen the doll connection store? The Tea baby is so adorable. Yes, I’ve heard some things about Ivita and I have one of their dolls because they are very affordable and cute. I don’t have the confidence to root dolls hair lol.
I have an Amazon baby coming Monday. She isn't silicone, though. I have another Amazon baby, a toddler 28 inches. I love her. I have a custom made reborn also. He is a boy. I think there is nothing wrong with Amazon babies. I also have a 10 inch Ashton Drake and she is adorable. I love your new baby. I just subscribed to your channel.

I totally agree with you. If they do copy a sculpt it's because the sculptors didn't protect their work outside of the US. I say buy what you want and be happy. I'm an artist and I buy these dolls and paint them for myself.
I ran across this video kind of by accident today...I have ordered the amazon full silicone baby boy by Maito...was looking for a video on him...but anyway this baby girl is absolutely gorgeous!! Wish I'd have seen her before I got my boy...but who knows maybe I'll get a baby like this one day. I love your video's...I used to watch all of yours but we got busy fighting my husbands cancer and just the other day May 1st we found out the radiation and chemo killed all the cancer! so he is cancer free and I can be back here!! Aww I call my daughter chunky monkey!! My daughter was 7pounds as well and I couldn’t produce enough breast milk so I actually bottle fed and breast fed her. I love these dolls because I miss my child being a baby!
I dunno this girl who is an artist has painted the highest of high end dolls (Clair Taylor, Romie, ect) said the vollence ones are actually better quality softer less sticky better paint better weight the head moves better.... she said this in her videos (nlovewithreborns2011) price doesn't determine quality it's just a status thing
She is really cute but your son was adorable. He is perfect and the lighting bolt(took me forever to see) that turned into Africa is perfect too. Slushy blue Gatorade is good stuff! As far as breastfeeding is not your fault, nor your body's fault. You just needed help and guidance to increase your milk supply. Your Ogbyn, pediatrician, hospital, community and our formula pushing society failed to give you the support you deserved. Mothers were meant nurse with support from our mothers and aunts. Most of us, myself included were bottled fed so our excellent mothers (not their fault either) couldn't help us. I had my grandmother to help me. She nursed 5 infants through grinding poverty and the Great Depression. She had her mother to help her and I helped my daughter whose nursed 3 now. You could absolutely nurse a baby and you did not fail. You succeeded by making sure your son was adequately fed. Good Mom. :)) I agree buy what you want!! I have a Vollence doll too. Many collectors with 25k nursery, paint, root, etc, then trade with other artist in a mutual admiration society. For them such a collection is a necessary investment but for the rest of us it would be much less practical to drop 4k on a doll. But it is their job to make you want their dolls, and convince you that you don't want a factory doll. But Ivika/ Vollence do not steal sculpts as you can't copyright a realistic human looking doll. You can only own and copyright the creative features of your doll that depart from the human form. Appalachian Artworks, owns Cabbage Patch Kids and they own the unique and creative distortions of those unique dolls but they can't own what is generically found on a doll. If no one can own it, then no one can steal it. As far as perfectly legal copying goes, the evidence that BabyClon ever copied anyone's sculpt is so vague it is absurd, and yet collectors and artist preach it like gospel. Many respected artist craft unlicensed Avatar dolls which is copyright infringement and theft.. Ironically "they" also accuse BabyClon of stealing an Avatar sculpt when BabyClon is exclusively licensed to manufacture Avatar silicone babies. So that artist stole actually from BabyClon. When it comes to a Vollence doll assure no part of your sweet baby was stolen from anyone and neither was mine. Oh and I love the name Isla and can't wait to hear this baby's name. You sacrificed your needs to meet the needs of your baby. You should be proud of that. That is what a good mother does. If you ever find yourself having another baby, Insist on help from your pediatrician, Obgyn, hospital, and community. There are so many people out there who would help you and sometimes the answers are surprisingly simple. The dolls are one answer as well. . I know what you mean about it feeding a real need. I really wanted a third child and my husband didn't. I let him win, but I regret it. The other day I ever looked up the oldest woman to ever give birth naturally without in vitro and I was pleased that I was younger. lol But I am really way too old. I need just one special silicone baby not a huge collection of dolls. Someday hook or crook I am buying a BabyClon doll with artificial intelligence. I love the Kelowna and the Berlin. Kelowna is a chunky 3 month old and Berlin is a sweet little preemie. The third and last IA doll, the Denver is funny looking to me- is that mean to say about a doll? Like you I had pretty babies so I need a pretty silicone. lol In photos I respond most to the Kelowna (her expression is so sweet) but I have heard that some Mamas bond better with tiny babies and some with bigger babies. I don't know my preference with dolls, but it is a big investment so I need to be sure. I am waiting on a 17" Vollence I ordered. The Vollence I have now is 22" so between the two I think I will figure out what I really want. I am painting, rooting and improving them both as you are doing as well. @@LaliFrequency432HZ My granddaughter choose the dolls name. She said, "I know babies named Rosie. Rosie is a good name for a baby. " I let her name all my dolls. She named the last one Emily. My husband picked the Pippadawg name because we have a tiny Maltese named Pippa and he made the RU-vid account for me.. The dog is also part of my baby therapy. She is small, cute, helpless, and needs to be held&comforted& protected. The big bonus is that she really loves me. Between the dog, the dolls and my little grandchildren, my baby needs are pretty much met. God bless you!
@@LaliFrequency432HZ I removed the hair since it was so high maintenance yes, it was a different model of theirs, and added a wig. Then I learned to root hair and rooted some of my bald Ivita/Vollence dolls. The rest of mine have wigs.
I want to make dolls for all my residents who couldn't have babies & my residents who use babydolls as coping skills they buy so many of them looking for a reborn doll... hopefully I can male a channel soon

I know this is a yr old but I’m pretty new to the community and this popped up so wanted to check it out. But wanted to say people are ridiculous when it comes to real and fake i have seen people tell others to throw dolls away because they weren’t authentic. I know there’s one youtuber that acts like such a SNOB! well guess theres a few of those tbh. But wth do they think they are doing by throwing something away that a company was already paid for, they don’t care what u do w your doll lol they done got their money lol

I was very lucky w my first because I found an artist that had. a beautiful baby at $160 but she went $140 and was willing to take payments of what I could, when I could then once paid she’d ship, I did end up buying her straight out tho because I was so anxious lol But I wouldn’t have been able to buy one w out her she will also do custom for me when I’m ready and under same payment options 💚
