The difference is in the details with this one. Great finish and dial details. With accuracy like that, you can set it and forget it for over a week. 👍🏻
Now that you have “blessed“ me with this knowledge I realize mine also has two micro scratches on it. 🫠 How are the on reflections now that your AR has been removed?
@@HeyHabibsWatches haha, sorry. For me it was not a micro scratch as much as it was a 'spot', if that makes sense. If it was just micro scratch, I wouldn't bother, to be honest. Reflection is fine, you lose spme of the AR but it is okay. It has inner AR.
Longines are making some fantastic watches at the moment and the Spirit line are some of the best. I prefer smaller watches (no I’m not a child I just don’t want to look like a mobile phone salesman!). Why this rather than the Tudor Ranger? I’d buy this but I already have an Explorer 36mm so can’t find a good enough excuse.
Agreed brother. It more so a preference. I can easily pull this off in 40 mm but the lugs were a bit long so I went with 37mm. If prob prefer a 38 at least since it is a pilot watch tbh.
Lovely watch, but I'm not a fan of the difference in finish between the case/lugs and the bracelet. It looks like an aftermarket bracelet was put on it.
I think your correct, especially since this is a pilot watch so it’s possible the bracelet is an afterthought. I will say in person that has never stood out to me.
Both IWC and Baume & Mercier are part of the Richemont group. B&M make a 3-hander in 40mm x 10mm with 5 days power reserve for under 3K. But IWC needs a 42mm x 13mm case? 🙃
Thats the plan! You could buy it on leather for about 250$ less but I opted to buy the bracelet version and bought a leather strap with a deployant buckle from Longines.
I have gotten this comment a lot, to me this isn’t an issue in person, this may be down to it feeling aesthetically with the pilot style watch. Maybe exaggerated effect and videos?
Perfetto... lo posseggo anche io con quadrante blu. Miglior rapporto qualità/prezzo....dimensioni ottime per polsi da 16/17cm. Tra l'altro neanche Rolex ti dà una confezione così bella. Ciao
In the 37 mm model it is only push pull. In the larger models it is screw down. In the beginning of the video the crown in out to hack the movement, later in the video it is pushed into place and closer to the case.
I've owned both, longines is good for the money but iwc mark is like the submariner of pilot watches, the design and feel cannot be matched by longines
