@@davewright5716 I dont know if you said that shit to get a rise from people or what but I agree with you. I am Tunisian so I inherently feel for the palestinians
I really like to watch you in action. You are truly a class act. Confident but never arrogant, and you surely have the skills to pay the bills. On a negative note.... You really want to make me buy a Tavor. Well, maybe thats a positive. Great shooting !!
You hit the key point Mike. The man wealth of knowledge , yet delivers the information in an humorous manner, that belies his wealth of accomplishments an talent. An American Treasure! Semper Fi
Hi Jerry; how in the world you could have 21 thumbs down on this video is beyond me? That was an exceptional display of knowledge, skills, and positive attitude. Curious as to if you would see a significant improvement with an aftermarket trigger pack and lighter, crisper trigger pull? Great video and thanks for sharing. Wm.~
Jerry is incredible! I take everthing he says like gold. One thing I can add is my buddy has a Tavor 5.56 with an 18 inch barrel and it is accurate at 600 yards. He also bought a drop in trigger that gives it a very light trigger pull. I can't wait to get one myself. I actually like it better than any AR platform and he feels the same. Awesome gun! And since Jerry approves of it how can you go wrong?
Is there any place that sells the upper rail? As either a replacement part or some form of OEM. Anyone with a link or info would be wonderful. Amazing video. calling this impressive does no justice.
Not sure what is the more contagious... the thrill of watching you shoot the Tavor, or your laughter and enthusiasm. Thanks for both. Just proves the old adage - do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life.
WOW !!! That Hornady 40 grain VMAX is the most wicked stuff ever that I have seen on soda bottles. - for that caliber. And, wow, that first melon just vaporized !!!
Man, I want to ask this guy to come train our Shia militia fighters who are fighting ISIS in Iraq. This gentleman will turn them into gunslingers and make them enjoy the close range fighting...
congratulations on your new Tavor .especially if its the one made Israel ' many don't know but this is actually a fully automatic machine gun used by the IDF and US military and about 50 other countries , off course in order to sell it in the open market in the US and Canada IWI had to make some modifications to it in order to comply with local laws the demand for the Tavor is so overwhelming IWI had to open a factory in the US, and another one being built now in Canada its an awesome weapon without s doubt. the version that's being sold in the US has limited options do to local and federal laws in the US and Canada the Tavor that is used by the IDF and the US military has TONS of options and FULLY automatic , making it one of the most lethal weapons sold on the open market, the Tavor that the IDF uses has built in cooler, ( just in case you go on a rampage LOL) enjoy you're new Tavor, great choice, stay safe peace from Israel
Brandon Roberts I like it when people say AK's are not accurate… It's fun to show them a 1 inch grouping at 300 yards. It's like taking a 1/4 MOA bolt action and complaining you only getting above 1 MOA… Shooter needs to learn to shoot 1 MOA first.
John Vadasz well these people are partially right . the AK was indeed inaccurate because of the small distance between the Iron Sights . as soon as modern sights arrived (red dot , ACOG , etc etc) , the problem was gone (at least in the armies . terrorist organizations don't have access to such technology so their rifles are inaccurate)
Hey Jerry GREAT STUFF!!!! I'm an M1A fanatic, I have my " loaded" at Jon Wolfe's place in Colombia, N.C. getting Glass beded into an E2 stock , build it into a DMR. You and I have a mutual friend in that area, anyway I also own a Socom 16, I'd love to see you put a Socom through its paces if you ever get the chance, I'm really interested in seeing you do your V drill with that little thumper. Please keep those vids coming. Thanks, Louie Pate
The last tool he showed was not for the barrel take-down, it was for front sight adjustment (windage and elevation). He seems informed for the most part but failed to read the instruction manual which clearly states what the tool is for. Just saying'.
Jerry doesn't need full-auto/selector switch. Jerry is probably faster. That would actually be pretty cool to see, a comparison of two exact same gun models, one full auto and one that Jerry shoots and see who's faster.
That's because Jerry's a professional and just like other pro's he wants to get paid. hickok45 has his range near his property whereas Jerry travels to various ranges. hickok45 doesn't have the experience that Jerry has. I mean, what are they going to do? Talk? Don't make much sense to put them together like that. For what a RU-vid video? Not worth it! Put some money and Jerry might do it. Big difference between "fun" and competing. One gets bragging rights and the other gets to lose.
Just remember... Fastest... It ain't braggin' if it's the truth.... Just so happens it is the truth... Keep up the good work, Jerry. You're S&W trigger job CD on your website has my 625PC rockin! Thanks again.
hey jerry, i would love to have access to half the weapons you shoot. i live in Australia and our gun laws pretty much only allow Bolt action rifles/double barrel shotguns :(. great shooting! big fan! keep it up!
I wonder if the ban on 7N6 ammo is to blame there isn't a conversion kit to 5.45x39mm yet. I could be wrong but I haven't been able to find any kits or Tavors chambered in it.....
Subbed, 50 years old Ive bought my first gun at 18 and still have the same box of CCI aluminum case blazers 9mm that I had when I bought the p226 only shot and cleaned it one time. What a waste. Just now getting into shooting. Last 8 months I brought 7 different guns to my collection shot more than 5000 rounds since. So mad that I wasted 32 years working and golfing and not shooting more. What am awesome sport. Working on my first AR_15 build. Bought a spike tactical V2 assassin love that thing. What do you think about the gen 4 noveske ? Any suggestions? On what to purchase? I am working on getting my FFL to manufacture and want to get the SOT class stamp. New hobby. Just started AGI.
I got a ruger mk III lite with my dad. It's perfect for plinking around and ammo is cheap. I didn't want to spend a ton on a suppressor so I sometimes play with an oil filter on it lol. I really want to save up for a 1911 though, para has a pretty cheap but reliable double stack that I think I may buy in the future.
Well that's disappointing. I think the shooting community would really get a kick out of seeing you both together. Please keep me posted if the opportunity arises. Sounds like there needs to be some itinerary matching. Between Tennessee and Louisiana there has to be a way to make it happen
On "Future Weapons" the Tavor was the featured topic and Mac the host of Future Weapons on his first shot hit the 400 meter steel target on an Israelis range. They did a very good job discussing the IWI's contribution to the free state of Israel. this rifle is good out to 500 meters as it is.
I almost bought one of these but it the person selling it wants $2,400. Not a bad value because it comes with a 9mm conversion Barrel and trigger upgrade. Still about $1,000. more than I have in the budget.
If its possible could you one day shoot some shoot-n-see targets so we can see shot placement? Not questioning your skill by any means but it would be cool to see that from a professional so we can compare it to our own practice. Keep the videos coming!
I can see the advantage of the compactness of a "bullpup" , but personally I think that the handling characteristics would take quite a lot of practice for the average person . Myself I think that I'll stick with my M&P :)
Jerry, you gotta finish the walls of your room. You have nice cabinets. with plywood wall finish??? buy some drywall and finish the walls. Very nice videos by the way. You're one bad ass shooter!!
Nice shooting like always. Jerry is always fun to watch too. Always looks like he's having a ball. I did chuckle every time he said "Travor" though. :-p
Very nice shooting! I believe that you allready new the bull-pup, what do you think about the gases that the operator breathe in CQB, specially during the training )? Another question: If there is an ammo malfunction and it explodes in to the chamber ( very close to the cheek of the operator ).....I saw this malfunction with the M4, and parts of the rifle fly to everywere, hurting the soldier in the face, and in the M4 the chamber is far from the cheek.
I'm very curious to know how a sound suppressor would compare to the performance of that brake on the Tavor, doing the same drills, with regard to recoil control and how it affects the speed. Certainly, I'd think it would at least help out at night by reducing or eliminating muzzle flash. (hint hint: same vid but w/a suppressor :D ??)
My Tavor is finally on the way, at least that's what Fed Ex says. Now all I need is the JM compensator and a bunch of ammo and I'm good to go. You set the bar beyond reach but it's good to know what is possible. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep them coming, they are a gas to watch.
Why is jerry not in John wick 1 or 2 and he’s not in 3 either I’m very disappointed oh wait the movie would only be 3 seconds jerry would drop every bad guy movie over get some
Just to be clear, I would argue you are the greatest shooter of all time, not just the fastest, and I never miss you on the Outdoor Network or other media. Your name carries credibility without hyperbole....though I hadn't considered how youngsters think!
Indeed, Jerry and Hickok would be awesome. Two of the most badass men on the planet with each other at the range? The world would explode due to so much awesome being focused at one location!
The Israeli Army teaches to hit the mag release by moving your trigger hand backwards so that is hits the mag release. This makes a mag change very fast.
Jerry, I think Smith and Wesson needs to give you some new hats, that one looks like the sun faded that one out, I think all you have done for them they can give a new hats.
I really enjoy that not only do we learn about the weapon but we also get information about ammo that goes well with it or just about ammo in general. Thank you for all the information and a great time watching you destroy those bottles.
