Izalith Swamp - DS1 Mod Trailer 

Maybe turning the whole game into a swamp would be the true manifestation of Miyazaki's creative vision.

This should be a permanent replacement for Lost Izalith. You turned Bed of Chaos into an actual boss fight, I'm impressed.

lol I'm glad to still have the PTDE, it was delisted from the store but not from our libraries. I'll try this mod tomorrow.

Finished that today and mannnn was it fun the boss fight was perfect thank you for making this I feel like this should be a new staple for any rerun of dark souls 1 it blew my mind and the way the areas was set up was great. I had a few bugs like randomly getting humanity when just standing around but otherwise it was super fun.

Given this is in PTDE, i would KILL to have this part of the Remastest mod that InfernoPlus and the community have been working on .

My god, this is more than just simply restoring Izalith's appearance as a swamp, this is essentially making Lost Izalith actually finished. Crag Hollows, Undead Dragon instead of the asses, BETTER Bed of Chaos? So looking forward to trying this mod out when I get the chance.

Looks amazing, can't wait for the remastered version. Are you planning to make mods like this for the other areas in the future or is this just a one time thing? A full cut content restoration mod that mainly focuses on overhauling the second half areas but making small changes to the first half as well would be really cool.

Okay i tried it out and i gotta be honest, i miss buggy boy bossfight :( I DID LOVE EVERYTHING ELSE THO, HOLY MOLLY THE DETAILS AND PLACEMENTS ARE GREAT! On another note, who hurted you? For real, Leo Demon applying toxic is just mean, but a fun fight for my SL1 attempt (gotta get that chaos)

When DS1 was in development, FromSoft wasn´t nearly the shadow of the titan it is today. Budget limitations , and worse, time limitations were hitting like a truck. Thats why a lot of things weren´t how they planned and why the second half isn´t as memorable as the first one. Izalith was reduced to a little fraction like it was planned, explaining the reason why you fight so many bosses in a consecutive way. Even Bed of Chaos was in some way afected by this, now considered one of the worst bosses in Souls games, truly a tragedy. They wanted to changed a lot of stuff, and sure they regreted some aspect of the current version. im glad that this zone has another chance to shine, even when its a mod. Thanks.

why the fuck would i want another swamp in my game

looking at this, i just can't enjoy dark souls 2. everything looks, sounds and plays so generic that i just can't get in to it. also so many generic knight enemy designs, actual fromsoftware make knights look "alive" with just their armor somehow, like it's not steel but their second skin, real flesh that i get to cut down

Is there anyway to find a Bed of Chaos checkpoint reset of any kind if one exists?
