Hi i am native Japanese and let me explain about Jutsu of Mangekyo Sharingan. As some of guys may know, the names of Mangekyo Jutsu are come from Names of gods in Japanese old myths called “Kojiki (古事記)" There’s couple gods in Kojiki and they are “Izanagi”(male god) and “Izanami(female god). It’s like Adam n Eve. I guess this is why author draws the character of Izanami as woman Uchiha ninja. By the way, there is one strong god named Susano’o(須佐乃乎) and he defeats fuge 8 faced snake monster in the myth. Remember, when Itachi sealing Orochimaru, Kishimoto-sensei hommage to this story. Moreover, the this snake monster is called “Yamata-no-Orochi(八岐大蛇)” Orochi(大蛇) means giant snake. And Orochimaru’s(大蛇丸) Jutsu names “Yamata-no-Jutsu(八岐no-Jutsu)”. Orochimaru transformed Yamata-no-Orochi by using Yamata-no-Jutsu lol. Thanks for reading and sorry for my poor English.
The Uchiha Masacre: Danzo The Akasuki: Danzo We can say Madara is the big schemer but without these two things, his plan would have been much more difficult and probably would have failed. He had Tobi but Danzo made everything much easier.

The fact that REANIMATED itachi contributed immensely by stopping the reanimated jutsu in order to end this war......Wow. Itachi was a G. He truly was The Leaf's Unsung Hero.
What i like about Itachi is how kind and mature he is, even when he still a kid, his mind blowing like a hokage. "Itachi.... You are a kind person." you better react to itachi and kakashi filler.
I Hated Kabuto for so long But after the scene where his brother thought about him was so emotional for me , that it made completely full sense to me that Kabuto did what he did , still he is the cause of many deaths , but i don't hate him anymore
I think Itachi doesn't want Sasuke to emulate him like Kabuto is emulating Orochimaru, that's why he won't give him the answer because he wants him to figure it out on his own and make his own convictions instead seeing him as someone "perfect" and just blindly following what he tells him.
I think it’s important to note just how different Itachi thinks to someone like Sasuke. Sasuke constantly wanted to murder Kabuto and everyone in his way. Itachi wanted to give Kabuto a chance at living his life again. Like, wow man.
Itachi didn't give the innocents uchihas a chance, I literally killed all his clan even though there was innocents as well . Itachi is not that much better than sasuke.

@@ThePhantomRisk He had other choices Danzo stoled Shisui's eyes that was supposed to prevent it, and Shisui killed himself. Even Shisui being itachi's best friend , he didn't have the courage the fight danzo.. lol he was a coward that chose to kill his own ppl even innocents, knowing that the government discriminated against his clan, instead of taking out danzo. And also tortured his brother with tsukuomi at the age of 8 telling him to kill his bestfriend to get power lol what kind hearted guy ahaha. At least sasuke did what itachi couldn't and got revenge by killing danzo and got revenge for the uchiha. Itachi was a coward.
marcos 123 You’re either a child or delusional. You do realize that Itachi would of had to fight the entirety of Root just to get to Danzo, all with the Uchiha coup being mere moments away. Itachi realized that he couldn’t stop the coup with Kotoamatsukami because Fugaku wasn’t fully behind it anyway, so he could only use it on one person, then have the Koto be useless for a decade. Itachi was only stopping the coup one of maybe 3 ways. 1.) Slaughter the Uchiha 2.) Have Sasuke help him stop it 3.) Tell Hiruzen about Danzo’s plan. However, the only one that would had worked was #2. Hiruzen was a weak leader who continually let Danzo off the hook and allowed him to do his own thing. All this would had done is result in the Root vs Uchiha, in which the Uchiha would slaughter Root, and likely Danzo. Then Hiruzen would be forced to intervene and bloodshed would occur. Like I said, he was a 13 year old boy with no time left to even consider other options. Itachi had relied and hoped for Hiruzen’s intervention, but Hiruzen was too weak to pull Danzo’s leesh. So, how would you have stopped it? I guarantee I’ll debunk it.

The Uchiha had Mangekyous. Im not sure at which point in the anime it was, but its told the Uchiha used to kill their best Friends to obtain this Power. And the newer generations were like "you cant do that" so it became a rare thing. I looked it up in the wiki. There it quotes the manga chapter 386: "It is initially awakened by the trauma suffered from witnessing the death of someone close to the user. Uchiha have historically misunderstood this criteria as the user needing to be responsible for the person's death, and for that reason they developed the practice of killing their closest friends in order to gain the Mangekyō Sharingan."
@@jaimemenjivar8044 I mean the older generations used to do. I edited this comment for details. Its obtained through the pain felt by losing a beloved person. So it was enough for sasuke to lose his brother and "start loving him again" after he got to know his past. He experienced the pain and awakened the mangekyou.
@@TheMadLex Yohan Mollo yeah but I think the ems is only exclusive to sasuke , madara. If ai recall correctly you can awaken it by transplanting the MS eyes of someone close to you ( like your brother in madara's and sasuke's case) and it's not 100% guaranteed that you will get the ems. When Itachi said to Sasuke that only 3 people including him ever had mangekyo it's a plothole. Because as we can see the majority of Uchiha back in the days had it. Even if he meant ems, the only two known ems characters are Sasuke and Madara. ( Both transplanted their brother's eyes that were MS. It's not 100% that you will have EMS by doing so, but they were "lucky" and got the EMS ( quoted because they are one of the "main" characters, so the writers decide their fate).
@@ernestohysa9818 I was talking about the normal MS. Since heisuten was wondering why there were so many MS-uchihas. And izanami/izanagi dont rely on EMS. And im not sure when itachi told sasuke but i guess it was when they had their final battle. I think he was talking about the uchihas he knew. Fugaku, shisui and himself. I dont think hes refering to kakashi or danzo since they arent uchiha und in the end danzos ms is shisuis.

@@libeltoure7970 I'm not sure that counts as a plot hole. Remember that Itachi wasn't exactly an honest storyteller at that time. Remember that while he was still alive Itachi told Sasuke carefully crafted lies to guide him down a single path of Itachi's choosing. If Itachi said anything that turns out to not be true then it can be explained by Itachi was intentionally lying to simplify the story of the Uchiha to tie up all lose ends in Sasuke's mind.

I was waiting for Itachi to admit that he made mistakes and he regrets the way he treated Sasuke. Because as much as a great character he is with intelligent and philosophical points of view he went against his beliefs and emotions and hurt Sasuke terribly and repeatedly. He's a humble and a down to earth person. He's honourable and his personality and power rival those of a kage. However, he really needs to set things straight with Sasuke and reassure him of his love and affection for him. Because Sasuke's thoughts, emotions, goals and actions have been revolving around Itachi for his whole life! And honestly, any dosage of Itachi is not enough in the show! You should really watch his arc when you get there. But most importantly, read Kishimoto's novels about Itachi because they're quite different from the anime. And even more satisfying.
He did admit he was wrong and a failure. He did admit he filled Sasuke with only hatred. And in the end, he also said Sasuke didn't need to forgive him. Itachi wanted Sauske to become stronger and used hatred as the tool to do that (Uchiha become strong because of their hate, tbh), but it damaged Sasuke terribly. While his mind earlier was eaten up by his own guilt and desperation to get killed by Sasuke, after death he had a clear idea about his own actions and their devastating consequences in regards to Sasuke. This is why this phase is my favorite and Itachi (along with Sasuke) became my #1 favorite character of Naruto.
And yep. The Itachi novels are great. Though not written by Kishimoto himself, they're illustrated by him and have his nod. Itachi's thought process throughout the while, his sufferings and struggles are heartbreaking to read.

Izanami and izanagi were plot armor in mine opinion they should have been save for different Mangekyō Sharingan abilities (maybe mardra brother and sadara)
Yes, the “loop” actually happened but when itatchi did the Izanami the loop started, it’s almost like putting someone to sleep and then they dream about the things that they have already done in their lived over and over again until they choose another path

They big brained so much with izanagi and izanami that a normal person wouldn't understand what the hell was going on... I'll just say that izanagi rewrites the fate and izanami is like doctor strange's time loop... Dormamu I've come to bargain :P
Hmm..is there somewhere i can get info on this? Coz this izanami flashback just screwed with me back then. Still dont quite understand coz it was said madara and his bro were the first to awaken ms...but when itachi explained, he said others knew about it and had tried unsuccessfully.....huh?
You got the eternal mangekyo confused with just the mangekyo plenty of Uchiha obtained the mangekyo sharingan especially with all the death they suffered it would be impossible for others not to get it lol
The Uchiha chan of using sharingan has many secrets. The reason why Uchiha been killing each other is probably active by killing their best friends and then Izanagi active due to death or major damages.
I know this is super late but to assume that Kabuto is way stronger than Naruto means you're assuming Naruto and Sasuke are on the same level at this point in time, which just isn't true. Sage mode puts Naruto way ahead of Sasuke, remember that he was able to take on Pain almost entirely by himself. I do agree that SM Kabuto is still probably stronger than SM Naruto during this episode but not by a large margin. Him soloing Itachi and Sasuke is only working well because Sasuke isn't that strong and Itachi is reanimated, plus Kabuto has a massive location advantage.
Ok,i think i know what's going on.. 1)Their headbands are leaf, so we can assume this is after madara died. And konoha was already formed. 2) Itachi said only 3 had ms,but that was after killing the entire clan, so he was talking about survivors...why? Coz shisui clearly had a mangekyo when he was alive, so did fugaku. Conclusion: this was from the succession wars among the uchiha itself in the absence of madara, the discovery of how to activate ms from the tablet (which had always been kept secret by some members) hence the powerful uchiha had ms, and they tried to take the reins of rulership among the uchiha using it. BUT. Studio screwed up coz: izanagi use closes the eye &does not discolor iris. And from danzo, we saw izanagi does not need mangekyo, and seemingly neither does izanami ALSO They say izanami was "created" to counter izanagi, meaning it is not a native ability to the sharingan that is awakened naturally, it must be learned SO...All this makes sense if we assume the magekyo were indeed the studio screwing up
Madara and Itachi weren't the only ones who had the Mangekyo. In Madara's time, the Mangekyo was actually fairly common, as the Uchiha discovered it and then started having a lot of members kill their friends to get it in order to abuse the hell out of its power. Madara was the only one to achieve the Eternal Mangekyo when he went blind and his brother Izuna gave him his eyes. And then Sasuke was the second to achieve the Eternal Mangekyo with Itachi's eyes. After Madara went rogue most of the Uchiha clan decided to stop trying to acquire the Mangekyo in fear of creating another Madara. That's why it became so rare, to the point where prior to the clan's extermination the only two known Uchiha with the Mangekyo (before Itachi got it) were Shisui and Fugaku, Sasuke and Itachi's father, and they awakened it unexpectedly.

Itachi is a G man, he knows shit than no one else know and his ideas are so fucking good, and it’s sad how no one will ever know the person who stopped the whole Edo Tensei and most of the war was a guy who they always hated, it’s so sad
