J. B. Arban -Carnival of Venice Zoltan Kiss - trombone Jacek Obstarczyk - piano This recording made during the 1st Hungarian Trombone Camp in 2017. The video and audio edited by Matyas Veer.
I learned this, mostly on trombone back in 2017 in eighth grade for a solo, it still to this day is the hardest song I have ever played on trombone…. And it’ll probably stay that way lol 😂 I still can’t even play the full fucking thing😅
There is just some fun and show included, and I suppose allready quite some alcohol ;-) So don't take intonation too serious at a brass camp - he is great however
“Hard on trombone” almost sounds ignorant. Unless you play trombone, you just don’t understand what’s involved in the tonguing technique. People think that the slide is what slows the trombone down. Its not. It’s the tonguing. A trombonist named Dave Bargeron created an air flow stop valve for the trombone to cut the air and do the articulating on trombone instead of the tongue. It basically mimics what the valves do on other brass instruments……. Anyways, criticizing what this guy was able to do seems stupid in the grand scheme of his achievement. Just saying……
