JD Chakravarthy is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, producer, composer and singer known for his work primarily in Telugu film industry in addition to some notable work in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. He made his acting debut with Industry-hit movie Siva (1989) under RGV's direction and went on to do popular works that include: Money (1993), Gulabi (1996), Bombay Priyudu (1996), Anaganaga Oka Roju (1997), Satya (1998) and more. He won Screen Awards - Special Jury Recognition for his performance in Satya and the state Nandi Special Jury Award for that in Gulabi (1996).
