This beat.. This beat makes me reflect on my life the times thing's were easier. The times I wish I did different. Such is life. To who ever reading this.. If its worth it Dont wish you did differently, just do different now. Peace is life, life is peace.

Listened to this beat for the first time today, none stop for about 5 hours. Afterwards I went outside & looked up at the stars & listened to the nighttime bugs thank you Allah for blessing me with this life. For all of the good and bad. I am grateful & forever excited for the day that tomorrow brings. Thank you J dilla for blessing us with your creativity, you will never be forgotten. AllahAkbar. Today is Wednesday, August 9th 2023.
Man it makes me sad to think that Dilla knew how limited his time was. Makes me so grateful that he spent his time making great music for so many others too enjoy. RIP to the greatest
Duuuude, that's exactly what i'm feeling when i'm listening to this, 10 years ago, when everything was so smooth, life is hard and music heals your soul, especially Dilla's
We were just robbing paint stores, skate through the day, party through the night. Not caring about anything but being together and having fun. I'd never go back but it was fun. Youth nowadays are a sorry sight. Isolated, depressed, addicted, weak little wankers. Their idea of community and fun is a group chat. Glad I had it before all this nonsense.
Yeah I think Satie, the first time I heard him, made me realize there was music in the skeleton of things I had heard before. Where as he almost takes on a modal approach, and is simplistic but that is to say he has a voice that echoed off of different walls. Dilla brought so much justice to the rhythm. Again echoing off a different set of walls than his contemporaries/predecessors, he fleshed out a new meaning to his genre. Probably genre-wise Dilla was more of a game-changer. With attention to detail.
@@hasanisgs667 I think they were talking about Erik Satie, C19-C20 French composer, mostly known for melancholy, slow and spare piano music. You might have heard this one somewhere: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S-Xm7s9eGxU.html
feels like one of those nights when you are by yourself in nature. everything around you is calm and gentle as you watch the sun go down and fade into the evening. this captures a really strong sense of tranquillity. his beats are like bottle emotions. i dont even have words
If you guys go to any Dilla Day fests you are most likely gonna hear alot of unreleased material by Dilla from all of his friends and Artists he produced for and collabed with. Best concert ive ever been to in my life are Dilla Day
+Jabari Reynolds Music depends on whos DJ more likely J Rocc who likes to play some unreleased songs. he only did a couple so its not like a whole album
I’m a fan of Dilla since a solid 7 years now, every time I dig on youtube for Jay’s Music I find beats I’ve never heard of. It’s crazy. And listening to dilla always makes me realize how dope my own beats are not. Greatest producer of all time in my opinion. This one is truly beautiful. Jay Dee forever ❤️
Yo, this is dope! So chill and laidback this beat is. A Sunday afternoon drive with your wife enjoying the countryside scenery. This what kind of beat this is. RIP J Dilla we lost a legend but his legacy will live on for Eons by the power of TMH.
This song (so much more than a beat) makes me feel like time is a buddy of mine. And I'm like, hey buddy, let's play. You ain't gotta be anyplace. Let's sit and chill, stand, or laze about a bit
Only discovered this song today(Jan12th '22.) It's awesome that when I go to bed shortly,it'll be playing in my head and when I wake up.All that's missing is a one hour loop so I don't have to keep repeating!!
easy dread hard times led to paradise sacrifice has its reward as man keep a sword mold ya talents balance passion let Love rule like Lenny Kravitz the whole earth is ya canvas your the star of your own life movie know Love won the war and that's how you heal the scars keep it moving wah gwan in ya yard keep improving Soljah
When I listen to this I picture J Dilla sitting alone in a room in the dead of night with his MPC 3000 at a table making beats and bopping his head at 3:42 a.m. in complete peace
I guess it’s a perfect time to unwind a true believers mind and spit a few lines Bout these perilous times We’re in the end So Tell a friend , you’ll be doing them a favor Handing out rhymes like a buffet fully cooked chicken Dilla added the flavor Where is all this gonna end up nothing but madness and greedy behavior Is it really human nature Lay your chair back and kick up your feet All we wanted was some time now we got time But now you don’t want it Nothing to do but pray Crucial times countless blessings Who’s here for the light at the end of the tunnel Permanent spiral Don’t know who’s phone number to dial Everyone changed want the fortune and fame Who’s the blame. If you don’t know ...then motherfucker you is lame in the end it doesn’t really matter what set you claim. We might be different but we all got to go the same. Quarantine shit
