I too am a Industrial machine person. I recently replaced the motor with a Sailrite Workhorse motor. It's a game changer. What, No loud humming. Great!
Hahaha!!! Thanks for watching. Actually I am part of the all of Us National study. It required one year of wearing a Fitbit. I’m a runner so I wear my Garmin. My Apple Watch is well it’s my Apple Watch.
Great video Jen. I'm fairly new to your channel, recently subscribed in December and enjoy your videos and the upcycles. When you talked about quilting garments, i immediately thought of @tribeccadesigns have you watched her videos? She's amazing as well, you may really enjoy her content, she does amazing upcyles, she does shows as well. She uses quilts, etc in a lot of her work. Her coats are 🔥.
I enjoyed your video and watched it all the way, you explain it so nice! I was looking for the H version of this machine which can handle more heavier materials.
Hi J’en, I am a new subscriber to your channel. Thank you for the sewing tips and fashion upcycling ideas. We have similar taste in vintage and thrifted finds. You rock!
With the Juki DDL 8700, you can easily convert it to the Juki DDL 8700 H, I have the Juki DDL 8700 H. Both Juki DDL 8700 sewing machines are exactly the same with only one simple upgrade difference. The heavy-duty feed dogs / plate/ presser foot is already equipped on the Juki DDL 8700 H, that's what makes it heavy duty. The other Juki 8700 is sold standard, that's without the Heavey -duty feed dogs/plate /presser foot. You could purchase the Heavey -duty feed dogs/plate /presser foot upgrade, under $40.dollars and you'll have to change the timing on the machine too, easy to do. Videos on RU-vid will show you how to change the timing on the Juki DDL 8700.
@@tracybuenrostro9126 A trimmer? by that I'm assuming you're referring to a kit with an auto thread cutter for the Juki DDL 8700. I don't think an auto thread cutter is available for the DDL 8700 model, .at least not that I know of. I would love to have an auto thread cutter on my Juki. But I just have a cheap Amazon stick on manual thread cutter.
