On November 1, Hobi was promoted to Corporal ahead of schedule. This just proved how effective of a mentor Hobi is.
With his Dance Leader background, Corporal Jung Hoseok will be excellent in his new rank.
What makes Hobi an amazing mentor is that he base his expectation on someone's capability, just like when he's dance mentoring. If he's mentoring trainees, he is very thorough with them. But when Hobi is mentoring BTS, he's quick and direct.
Hobi has been BTS's dance leader for over a decade, so he knows what they're capable of. While his very different mentoring style between Trainess and BTS makes a lot of sense, it's still fun to see the contrast.
