His arm could be better in game. Much easier to throw a 61 MPH in a straight line, without pads, and without pressure. Obviously his arm strength is good but in game he can sometimes underthrow passes. This might be due to ball placement tho.
@@imouut there’s no qb currently in the nfl who has as much accuracy + arm strength + arm strength on the run. His only two weaknesses are random errant throws and below average deep bal accuracy. 65 percent of his highlights are him throwing 52 mph darts on the run for touchdowns on the 20 yard line with perfect ball placement. That’s what arm talent means.
@user-qn4rp8wh1h he definitely has the arm. If Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, or Michael Penix werent in the draft he'd be at the top of the draft in terms of arm strength. It's just every QB on this draft has a big arm. his underthrowing is probably due to ball placement and not his arm. He's got a great arm.
@@imouutI mean if it’s just arm “strength” I’d put him ahead of Daniels and Penix, but they’re better deep ball throwers rn. I do think if we’re just saying who can throw the furthest it’s Caleb 1 and then JJ and Drake tied 2
So Happy that the Vikings signed him!!!! I can’t wait to see the Vikings make a run at a Super Bowl! He didn’t ruin his chances as I believe that the Vikings organization with the awesome coaching staff they have in place will be the new AMERICA’S team!!! Skol Purple Pride My Peeps!!!
Man he is a good QB he and bo nix will make moves this year but watch williams weird ass as well. Hes stacked up with wr's as well.SKOOOOOOL VIKES WELCOME DALLAS AND JJ
Obviously I’m biased as my username suggests but JJ is still a great QB. People r saying he’s not a top 3 QB but how they look isn’t everything. Mentality, WINS, and overall character is important too. And oh yea, he can also throw darts as the combine showed
@@whetwash2804 No it's because McCarthy did nothing to knock us out. He did everything he could to help us win. All his passing yards were drag routes over the middle because our DC didn't know how to stop it for some reason. Michigan leaned on Corum the whole game. I honestly don't get why no one thinks Corum is the best RB because he looks very good to me. Might be the most underrated guy in the draft.
@@bamafan18he definitely is underrated but so is McCarthy he was underutilized in his time at Michigan because of all the running back talent I don’t think he should go top 5 but still underrated
That’s the worst and most baseless assessment I’ve seen on JJ. Dude is a generational self less leader. Josh Rosen was talented but didn’t care about football and had a snob personality. JJ is the complete opposite.
lol dude plays all season winning a bowl and “experts” said he was a round 15+. Goes to combine, & is the only big QB name there; so yeah he shot up like a rocket.
I believe its a poor decision to pass him up, if you need or will need a Q.B in the next two yrs. His poise under pressure and ability to make things happen shouldn't be ignored.
