Having made some necessary adjustments to my pedal board, I thought it might be fun to jam one of my all time favourite guitars - the Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster - into it to let you hear some sounds. I used the Laney VH100R and 2x12 cab for this video and there's another video using the same guitar and pedal board with a '59 Bassman clone that you'll be able to view on this channel shortly.

The guitar is the least expensive part of the equation. Originally priced at around US$399, the Chinese built Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster would have to be one of the greatest guitar bargains ever. I have no issue with any of its components and it stands proudly up there with guitars valued at 10 times more. Find one now before they're all snapped up and prices go through the roof.
