Arturo Barba Sevillano (www.arturobarba.com) plays at Blancafort OM Organ (2007). Concatedral de Santa María of Castellón, Spain 2015. Praeludium in D minor written by German composer Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706)
Wow! what an amazing performance - Spanish instrument and playing. Bright upperworks and thumping pedal stops. Wish English organs had that verve. Best listened to with a HiFi setup! My offic e floor is vibrating with the bass!!
From what I have been watching Arturo play so far, this is an organ of a different colour! Three Manuals AND Pedals (even though they are not RCO radial type) - and reeds en Chamade! This is an amazingly powerful organ which Arturo does justice to. Wonderful!
It's the third time I meet this astounding masterpiece. The first contact was at first sight reading when I purchased the score, the second occasion when I received as gift a recording of various Pachelbel's organ works performed by Werner Jacob. You play so fine as him. Congratulations!
