Footage taken at Lisabeula Park on the west side of Vashon Island, Washington on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The pod present was J Pod, part of the critically endangered Southern Resident (fish-eating) killer whale population.
At the time of this recording, there were 25 individuals.

They can’t. I wish people would eat other things. We should stick to food from on land. They can’t eat food on land, they can only eat fish, maybe we should know our place as humans.

@@TheDaragh How do you know for sure? It seems that they are eating what they can find when they are hungry. In Canada, Howe Sound fjord, I heard that there are plenty of herrings, so we know that they are eating those. If they choose to eat salmon instead of the other « available » species around (not sure though) there might be reason for that choice. Right?
