J.Rockett - Jeff Archer vs. Archer - Comparison (No talk Gear Demo) 

I got a “Jeff” pedal and just love it after trying all the others - just works perfect for me.

I bought both and they sound identical (accounting for pot tolerances) until you hit high gain, above 2 o'clock. At a higher gain setting, the Jeff archer sounded less thick in the mids, yet slightly smoother. Also the Jeff archer has more gain on tap and starts breaking up earlier. For me, I'm keeping the old silver archer on my board and shelving the Jeff. Signal chain: Archers > Two Rock studio pro > UA OX > Apollo Duo > Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO headphones

The Jeff is really something special. Play one and you'll hear it.
