darein == literally "from where you are *into* It's even striking, startling in German ==== Somebody down here is at end of rope/tether. And makes that desperate 911 call to Heaven. And they freakin mean it. And they state the situation and the plea with such power and skill and measured coherence that The Almighty is constrained to rise up and 'just do it.' No waiting for another year, much less one more minute. An old tesching from one of the Gnostic offshoots of the original church went something like 'it there is to be action from above there must be a stirring from below. But when did our scrappy Boy, Bach ever need to be told that?
