Agreed. I recently found this album while studying bassoon at UCLA with John Steinmetz and was moved to tears, many times. I was devastated to hear that he had already passed away; my sincere condolences.

Arthur recorded this album several years prior to his development of the Weisberg fingering system he devoted his latter years to. I heard him play this live at the Glickman/Popkin Camp many years ago...
