Glad to know you're from St Anthony's high school too (Probably that's why I connect with most of the things you say :P ) . I absolutely agree with the Muthangi missionary events that used to happen every year in the disguise of students development tour during holidays and I was part of one of those tours. There were a bunch of pastors who'll try to brainwash you, they made us play multiple games where they make everyone close their eyes and they read some bible verses and ask kids to lift their hands if they see a light/creature and if yes they will be called onto the stage and be rewarded and say that it was god talking to them and make them pray! I have seen many kids go up the stage just to get rewarded. That was a very weird trip for me and glad I didn't fake things to be noticed/rewarded. It happened almost 25 years ago but I remember it very well due to the amounts of weirdness in that trip!

The brilliance of Sai Deepak does not need the unnecessary distraction of a prefix or a suffix which will be used by Anti Hindu forces.. But he has done well not to deny caste discrimination and untouchability.Otherwise critics will brand him a,Savarna. On caste Hindu activists have to strike a fine balance

The Brahmins are the one who faced the brunt of Buddhist, Islamic and British/Christian hatred and persecutions, they are the ones who kept defending dharma, protecting idols, temples and tradition at the expense of their lives and it is mostly for them that we have been able to retain whatever Indicness that we have been able to retain whereas every other civilization in the world has succumbed to the culture of their victors. Most of the last 2000 years the Brahmins were not in any political or financial power position but still kept fighting ....and in exchange of that India is labelling the Brahmins as the villains, as the perpetrators of all evils - this is a sad reality.

I am thinking of starting a movement to crystallise the efforts of persons like Sai Deepak. Everybody should act and rally around these thoughts. The day is not far off that Indic Renaissance is a rallying political force to rule this country for Centuries to come. I would like to learn a lot of lessons from Chinese people as they are successful, though China’s political establishment is treating India as an enemy which requires our strong posturing.

Brahmins have developed this quality of pulling each other down, they have eventually grown self centred and refuse to help their own community. I have seen it happen. I'm sure lot of Brahmins will agree to this, while other community have some how developed the quality of helping at least people from their own community.

An important factor in caste discrimination is......While we are angry against caste discrimination, WHY are we not bothered about the same caste discrimination by christians and muslims against us hindus. That is exactly the same, if not worse. Muslims clearly consider 'hindus' as inferior as far as belief is concerned and compared to their belief system. Is this not caste discrimination too? Just the word caste is replaced, but its the same!!!! Why nobody keeps it at the same level as hindu caste discrimination? (atleast we are not labelled as going to hell 'for sure' by the brahmins...though many other 'mental' degradation is similar). So WHY caste discrimination by muslims and christians against us is not considered? Cos u just change the word caste, then its ok? even if it is the SAME STUPID thing done by them? Mr. J. Sai Deepak is simply superb. This kind of deliberations & discussions are very much necessary to pull the country from the deep hole of muck called 'Casteism' the Britishers have pushed us into. The country can realise its potential only when it does away with the 'denominators' like caste, community, region etc. People who are in their sixties and above can appreciate how it is benefited by setting aside 'regional feelings' and take part in the IT - Sector's growth though it has predominantly evolved in the south of Vindhyas. The same could happen across the country for other sectors too.

The biggest mistake brahmins made was to remain quiet while outsiders hurled false accusations against them. These kinds of disparities and discriminations are more prevalent in the west. There is horrendous amount of classicism in the west. Middle class is being wiped out because of discrimination at work places. Immigrants are welcome and employed by the western countries so they don't have to be paid reasonably etc etc..

Listening Mr. Sai Deepak make me wonder if he is the reincarnation of the late Mr. Nani Palkhiwala. Like the Mr. Palkhiwala, Mr. Sai Deepak has tremendous breadth and depth of knowledge in almost all areas of law, history, religion and sociology, as was the case with Mr. Palhiwala. He is as fluent and and as erudite as Mr. Palhiwala. It is indeed a treat to listen to him, as was the case, and I was indeed lucky to have attended many talks by the late Mr. Palkiwala. Kudos to Mr. Sai Deepak, we need such intellectuals in our country

Krishnamachari, who was a member of the drafting committee, had once spoken about the drafting process. *Out of seven members of the drafting committee, one resigned and was replaced. All the trust donations should be reviewed by independent auditors appointed by Ministry and report directly and they should be given an open ended scope
