Grindelwalds original wand is in the wizarding world logo, its the lowest to the right. it kinda looks like a twig with a little outjut if i'm not mistaken. And yes they do know that, they made a video about it

Since the chess set came up, can I just take this opportunity to complain about my biggest gripe about the first movie? They contacted IM Jeremy Silman to create a chess puzzle to use in the game as an easter egg for any chess players watching. He actually created one where the moves Ron made were one of only 2 ways to give check mate. Why did he choose this route if there were 2 options and the other way didn't involve sacrificing himself? Because the other way involved sacrificing Harry. He literally had the option to sacrifice himself or Harry and chose to sacrifice himself. But the movie never showed enough of the board for the puzzle to be recognizable.

hillrp1 The opening maneuvers (pawn to H3, opposite to match and take it) is very recognizable. I'm glad the the director consulted someone who is well-versed in chess. 🐴 One thing that would have been hilarious to see is a knight move to its full potential since they're the only piece that can hop others. Can you imagine the match progressing all seriously, Ron commands one of the knights to a spot, and the whole chamber shakes as the horse leaps over a few pawns? 😂😂

the reason Fred and George’s wands are different is because when you put them together they make a broom. Fred’s is the tail end with the bristles and George’s is the handle of the broom.

To help from having 1 bad guess throw your score way off you could do it by percentage of price. Meaning guessing $250 on something worth $500 would hurt you the same as guessing $5 on something worth $10. Because guessing $400 on a $500 item is technically a better guess than $5 on $10 but you're penalized harder. That would require a little extra math but if you just did it in Post it would be fine.

It has to do with the fact that they needed space for Luke to play in that would also be a family space. Therefore they got rid of the coffee table and there is no room for sidetables, so no place on the coffee table they don't have anymore.

Well, I played the game with you guys and got 1,236. My main strategy was think of what a normal thing would cost, and add 50% because of the Harry Potterness of the item. That last item really threw me off though, I was expecting some ridiculously large price!

Depend on mass production and the intricacies of the figure/sculpture. The thing about these products is that they're all mass produced in China where the labor and material cost are much cheaper. If they're made win vinyl it's still quite cheap (less than $50) but if they use resin (that can easily break) the price shot up.

The only thing which I consider worth buying is Slughorn's hourglass. It looks cool (dat green looks sick) and actually does something rather than just being a simple decorative thing and is somewhat reasonably priced for a collectable, unlike the chess set.

I always assumed those foot rockers were there because of how hard the broom accelerates. Like it's so fast that without them you'd struggle to hold on maybe even slide off. Also maybe you're pulling so many Gs that they serve a similar purpose to bucket seats in race cars, keeping you planted on the broom. I have no evidence for any of this just my thoughts.

Personally, I think the timing of Hedwig's death is very interesting! If you consider that Hedwig's name is also the name of a Catholic Saint who's a saint for Orphans... Harry "coming of age" and not returning to Hogwarts is highly symbolic!
