So I am a very behind in this I got my first car about two years ago and still have it, Acura TL 2001 base model, anyways I really wanna cam it cause I heard it can increase power pretty easily? I can't find anything on it can someone in here help me if they're still people clicking on this video or whatever. :D
I can't really remember the exact details, but I'm pretty sure what happened is that we got this motor in pieces and put it together. The bottom end was from a J32 but the heads were from a J30 so we did the cam swap in order to get the correct cams to match the 3.2 liter bottom end. It wasn't my car so I can't really say whether or not the cams made a huge difference but I do remember that just by looking at the cams you could easily tell that the J32 cams had a more aggressive shape.
question for ya guys. im a mechanic for leaving i own a EXL 4 door 6MT i will like to do the cam swap i know thats easy i done few wayer pumps and timing belt. now for the question. dont you guys think that j32cam will requiered more fuel? or ya doing something else to replace the factory j30 base map?
