People compared Trump's rallies to carnivals, these rallies are more like Billy Graham revivals. The crowd listens to the excoriations of the speakers. They, bizarrely, love it! They love being told it was them all along. Because if they change, they can rebuild their communities. They love hearing it was how they treated their kids that is what destroyed the way of life and economy they used to have. They loved hearing it was their cynicism that did it. Almost no footage was taken of the rally, because people were so absorbed in the moment of awe that they, the American people, after such wickedness, could have another chance at life, even prosperity. They have eagerly exchanged Trump's breadcrumbs for a Thanksgiving feast. The American flags start flying into the air as was the custom of ASP rallies, like a graduation ceremony. The ASP was able to earn over 20 million votes in the midterms that year, the most of any party other than dems and republicans in history until that point. Full stop. President Harris was never in an enviable position, stranded on the wrong side of a culture war that was finally coming to a truce. But this was the moment when it became clear that she too would be a one-term president.

I'm Canadian, and i honestly love this song, it sounds like the USA, and defines it. And Trump is the only President in Decades that had not started a war. So hate the song, him and his people or not, He should be elected
