Says the broke loser. Do you think Ja cares what any of you losers say? His check is 100% guaranteed. He will fake say sorry and move on and live his life and u still will be broke with morals🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@omglawton he was likely working towards going to the NBA as a teen and didn’t have any freedom . He’s regressing and making up for lost time . I think he’s an idiot but that’s the only reason I can think of for this behaviour, he didn’t get to be free in his formative years
@@RUTHLESSambition5why you gotta make it about race 🤡 clown ass victim. There are plenty of blacks and other races criticizing him as well. Other black former nba players have told him to cool out like Shannon sharpe and Kendrick Perkins to name a few. Y’all love being victims and bringing up race for no reason as if it’s some black v white thing. Get over yourself
This young man has been out of control for a while. His dad just tagged along and acted like his peer instead of correcting his son. Bad decisions have consequences, and I hope he now understands that this THUG behavior is a road to nowhere.
@@nickflix33 Yeah he has a dad, dumbass, a dad who played college and semi-pro basketball and then settled down and became a barber when Ja's mom got pregnant with him. Ja grew up in a stable home in a middle class suburban setting, which is why so many people with rougher backgrounds are so rightly critical of him for jeopardizing his promising young NBA career by playing gangster when, unlike many pro athletes who do have that kind of tough background but focused on their sport and made it out of bad situations, Ja seems to be purposely making the worst out of a good situation full of advantage and privilege.
Not just that but talk about getting your own signature shoe with Nike and then doing this shit like the shoe hasn’t even released hope bro don’t fumble that too 🤦🏽♂️
At this point its more than fumbling, he's straight up trying his hardest to dropkick the bag out of bounds. Wrong people in his corner, to include his father because apparently his son is going around unchecked.
@@miguelceniceros3014 As if the owners of Nike give a shit about black on black violence. They'll probably just end up blaming this on white people somehow lol
People hate on Lebron James for all sorts of reasons, but you never saw him in any trouble with the law or in situations like this. To me this is a young dude with a lot of money and attention all at once. That can be hard to handle especially if you do not have a positive support group. I hope the best for him!
@@bamf6603 umm lebron was right on this case. Daryl morrey jeopardizes the safety of the players when they were there . What's your excuse Ja tryin ti be a hard nigga?? I'm 54, and I'll whip ja and all the boys in memphis.. So cal boys in da house!!!
@Dennis James Just continue to watch WREG news and you will definitely see what I’m talking about. Ja definitely fits the Memphis street culture narrative! I’m speaking facts!
@@ditchwizard whether we like it or not celebrities/professional athletes are above the law. The grizzlies suspended him two games meaning he ain’t getting paid. That is what’s going to calm him down. What he did you or me would already be in jail btw..
When you have a bunch of losers around you feeding your ego, Then you tend to do loser shit to impress them. Ja has his father in his life big time so this shit honestly is infuriating as you mentioned. He just got in trouble with those bumb ass friends a few weeks ago with the bus incident after the game. 😮💨
Supportive parents, a home, sent to private school and now makes over 200mill to play a sport he loves in front of millions. And yet he backtracks, surrounds himself with thugs just to look like hes about that life? This is proof that kids can still turn into sht heads even while having great parents
I hope this young man listens to the community and changes the way he moves. He is undeniably a basketball superstar. NBA fans just dont like them cause they act too hard
You’ve never heard of someone going partying and drinking to try and get rid of stress? Welcome to the real world. People handle stress in different ways. Some harmful, some not.
seriously. I assumed based on all the stuff that's come out that he grew up in the hood and wasn't letting it go. Makes more sense than that he's a kid from the Boonies that got a 200 million dollar contract, and now mid twenties, has decided he wants to check out the hood
A bit off topic but you do realize there's many suburbs of major cities that are just as bad as the core inner cities.. They may not be bombed out with abandoned houses, projects and vacant lots but they get busy just like in the cities.... Just saying, I don't know the exact suburb Ja grew up in so I don't know if it was rough or not but point is there's hoods in plenty suburbs all over the country. The Geto Boys said it back then 'the world is a ghetto'...
@@BLACK_MikeHammer true. I thought about that some. No you don't have to go to a big city to see a ghetto. But reading up on where he's from, Dalzell SC it really does seem like a pretty quiet, rural area. I've never been there but looking at it, it reminds me of my town. maybe a few thousand folks, lots of them poor. But places like that usually don't have a bunch of gangs running around. More than anything, the worst part is everyone being in your business all the time, casting you out and spreading rumors the minute you act a little different. At any rate, whatever he's going through, I hope he figures it out. He's got all the talent in the world.

The sense of entitlement is key here, he's clearly a narcissistic personality even from the way he throws it down on defenders and shows them off points to a mighty big ego. You never saw D Rose showing off defenders he just posterized, Ja does it every time... I can't help but think about Aaron Hernandez and that other cat from the Lakers, I think Crittenton or something and how deep they got into the streets. One is dead and the other doing like 40yrs. @@laugh_n_share_life clearly you don’t know him. He actually is from the suburbs and grew up with two successful and educated parents in the home. Sooooo come again.
Just being young and dumb but at this critical stage in his life he needs mentorship and positive, empowering men in his life. It's so easy to lose everything he's worked hard for. I hope he finds what he desperately needs.
This is like a recent skit made by RDCWORLD1, where a rapper who made it wanted to go back to hood mentality because his opps(critics/haters) think he's soft. His entourage was telling him "no, we don't have to go back" but I guess "thug life" reputation is more valuable to the rapper.
Nike likes when blacks act stupid. This how they get rich. Just dont educate your kind about they religion like kanye or kyrie did, or they will drop you
Ja will find himself out of the league soon if he doesn't get his self together. He needs an intervention team in place to prevent Ja from becoming a "crash test dummy" playing overseas.
He won't get away with his shenenigans in most foreign countries. He's be behind bars or booked and deported back to the U.S. He gets caught with a gun in China or Russia he'll be doing hard time. You saw what the Russians did to Britney Griner for some damn weed😁..... What would they do to him for carrying a gun in a night club?🤔
He just deleted all his social media, issued an apology, and said he’s stepping away for a few days. Could be just BS, but it sounds like he is not just laughing it off like you think he is. Stay hating, little kid.
Honestly, it’s okay for him to make these mistakes.. he’s YOUNG.. the same people judging and ridiculing him are same people that won’t turn a mirror on themselves.. your 20s are the time you make mistakes and learn.. Flashing a gun and giving a gang sign in a strip club, beating up a teenager, threatening a mall employee, pointing a gun (laser pointer) at the Pacer's bus, etc... this guy is no angel and it's a very bad role model image for the NBA. That apology letter was written by his PR, not him so it is not sincere.
Ja must be going through late puberty or early midlife crisis.... He's self destructing in front of our very eyes.... Something is going on....... I thought fatherhood had sort of grounded him..... Plus, he's got such a grounded , loving family unit..... It doesn't make sense 🤷🏻🤷🏻
That's the wrong way to put it. He hasn't betrayed the game. He's just fucking up in his personal life. He's gotta clear some of the goons out of his squad.
Dayum. Last week he just punched a 17 year old, then threatening a mall security guard..... All his friends is rappers & childhood friends he grew up with. He wanna be a Street Nigka so bad 😆
I am pissed with the whole Ja drama, that kid has a chance to be a billionaire by the time he turns 35 years old but it seems his only priority is to show he’s tough, gangster, real. WTH
That's just so immature on Ja's part, in my opinion they should just part ways with this dude. Look how Aaron Hernandez had it all and he threw it all away, if he doesn't take his position seriously it's finna come his way all so.
Bruh you’re comparing a whole football player that was actually HOOD. That played smash football for the goat himself caught multiple bodies. and ACTUALLY put work in Compared to some snotty virgin from private school named Clarence with -12 street cred ☠️☠️
Well at least we know know that kid who reported the assault right away was telling the truth. Unsurprisingly the police didn’t want to investigate a $200 million basketball player
No.. Ja Morant needs help. He has to know better than that. He HAS to stop acting like a criminal and step into his kingly position as a professional. You, liberals, are too soft.
Surround yourself with better people man.. it's not worth it.. you have a huge future.. hope he gets his life outside of basketball together. Would hate to see this talent wasted
"Literally?" Or figuratively? If he is literally a dog... then he is LITERALLY a dog. Not a human being. What you are doing is called a metaphor. It is a figure of speech. It is the opposite of literal. Ja is literally a basketball player who got suspended for two games.

So maybe crawl out of your troll lair and take a linguistics class before deciding to smugly shout your ignorance to the world.
@@anonymouslakernerd7214 Look at this Grammar Troll here in his natural environment, aint he a right beauty. Notice how careful I have to be around him, as facts don't mean anything. See how, even after carefully explaining that language evolves, that dictionaries don't contain forever static meanings of words, but instead record how words are used by actual humans, he continue to insist he was right. You can take the kid out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of the kid. I can't help but think every time I hear of a story like this that education really is important. Regrettably, we live in a society in which education and knowledge are dismissed as irrelevant. Mr. Morant and people like him show that the opposite is true.
Yep. YOu can thank Ronald Reagan for setting the course of this Nation away from valuing higher education for all to make a better Society. Instead he defunded higher education and so began the GREED IS GOOD shift in our Country to the Almighty Dollar. Doesn't matter which hood you are from if you had grown up being taught that KNOWLEDGE is the REAL POWER. BUT INSTEAD, we have generations of young people that have grown up with GUNS are ok no matter how much we butcher each other.

He was never hood, just a young man who is yet to discover himself and surrounded by bad company. He has to leave Memphis to break out of his peer pressure or else he's gonna ruin his career.
A sorry? No, dude. As a grown father who gets paid more than 99% of humanity, you don't get excuses. Not for this type of behavior, at that age. No pass should be given. If you need help, get it. However, in my opinion, he shouldn't have a chance to continue to act violent and endanger kids while making more than 99% of humanity. That's a real crime.
He is 23 years old, and even if he is successful, keep in mind he is still very young and immature. He is going to have to grow out of it eventually if he wants to stay in the league.
