their most ingenious idea ever as a group is to wear those masks. brings dancing to a whole new level. you look at their dancing and not their face or what they are wearing. just their dancing. that's it.
I still remember that they all wear mask so eveyrone looks the same, but during the performance the center guy always switch and each one brings a new trick, so they look the same but individually unique at the same time it's crazy.
The eyes are the windows to your soul and facial expressions can be distracting to the performance. That way they could convey the whole message with just their bodies.
Just the first 10 seconds of their routine is so captivating, the way the camera moves as they are doing their slow moves. It's so cool. it makes me want to dance, and I can't dance worth a damn.

what's funny is they present themselves as "amateurs" with that outfit while doing a more simple routine you'd see these kids having fun with but it's about the little details that show their expertise, they also didn't blow their load early in the competition

I watched the first season again. I noticed the progress of each dance crew and saw that the ones that changed my views of what the best would look like were the Jabbawockeez. Before I would think that the show would be like those step up movies or other dance crew movies, but that was not the case since the Jabbas were more magicians than dancers. i really love this group they are the ones that inspired me to do dance i am glad i watch them dance they are amazing i even got my confidence. when i used to watch them i thought that im to bad to be like them and back then i was so shy that i couldnt even do public speaking but now that i got my confidence from that amazing group of dancers ever since i started my first day in middle school you can choose an activite to do and a choice was dance and then i remembered Jabbawokeez and i signed up for that class and now i perform in front of tons of parents and even some of the students (if i was bad my reputation would be down the toilet) and some of my teachers too and my dance teacher said we were all amazing even when i said i was going to fail. thanks to that group i finally have confidence in my self. so i just wanna say thanks to Phil Tayag, Gary Kendell, Rynan Paguio, Randy Bernal, Eddie Gutierrez, Saso Jimenez, Ben Chung, Chris Gatdula and Jeff Nguyen. thank you so much. and keep doing what you do. :):):)
@Mowglieboy69 i respectfully disagree. what made you think that the dancers are not good? i believe individually they are amazing dancers. especially KB, the black dude. i say this because i have seen their vids here in youtube doing freestyles and choreo with and without the masks. if they are just ok dancers, they would not be headlining their own show in vegas. the masks are visually appealing though, i give you that.
OK, there is ONE thing, ONE simple thing braodcasting hosts or whatever that is in charge of shows like these do terrribly wrong... it is that, when you keep changing cameras and angles for the TV viewers they will be prevented from seeing the complete performance... They should have one angle and one camera on during the perfomance and that is the camera right in front of the stage... stop making it "cooler" by playin around
@Pr0d3gi dude, asian is no doubt after chuck norris. no offense to you white folks out there but i think we basically taught chuck norris what he knows right now *ahem* bruce lee *ahem*. ain't you ever seen that sign that says "who can stop chuck norris?" and another sign saying "bruce lee" lol. but no doubt, he's amongst the top 5.

ok so this sucks today i was at my school -well duh lol- and there was a talent show so i went and them mason and logan *they in meh class*were performing as jabowockeez well um logan he got tangled up in his feet and fell off the stage on his face D'; i cried -_-
