Jaca Makes Sailing History | Conquers The Mighty Ocean | Gagasi FM Sports 

Vuyisile Jaca is a 25-year-old South African sailor from Emgangeni, South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal.
Jaca was among the all-women crew that took overall honours in the Ocean Globe Race on board the famous British boat, Maiden, in April 2024.
In doing so, she became the first black African woman to sail around the Cape Horn and circumnavigate the world.
This prestigious race takes place every four years, departing the shores of Southampton in England and sailing past three other continents.
