i wonder....wud this cope with conditions in the uk where it can drop below 0° C....can any one say? i have about 20 that i planted at the start of summer and they have all sprouted and growing well.
Congratulations with getting Jacaranda to sprout and grow. I would recommend that you keep on potting up the plants as they grow larger. Perhaps when they grow up to at least a meter tall, plant a a couple out in the yard at the beginning of the next spring and see what happens. You will surely get more height and growth with regular watering and fertilizer. The following winter will be the real test to see how they handle much cooler conditions. I'm an optimist -- so there's nothing wrong with trying and experimenting with plants in areas where climate may be a challenge. Thanks for your question and good luck with your Jacaranda plants.
