Jachai Polite had a junior season to remember. He led the Gators with sacks and forced fumbles and easily played his way into the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Dude, why don't you make a video that your grandmother could watch? Do, have some class. This shows your age and lack ofmaturity. Grow up dude! As well, you shouldn't be listen to music that degrades women like that. Shows no character.
Such a misleading video. He lost his step by gaining weight, such a shame. Bad combine interviews, should lack of character and it showed in his pro game at camp and he never got a chance to even play a regular season game. God I was hyped about this dude
He wouldn't be the first player with behavioral issues signed by the Seahawks --- who doesn't like the media or rules -- who made a great career in Seattle. Hoping he has success here.
Thank goodness he had a bad combine and fell to MY JETS in the 3rd round!! This kid is a first round talent ALL DAY LONG! The tape clearly does not lie. He explodes of the ball, and is definitely quick closing speed, with a serious motor to boot!
Dark Simmie No he’s plenty motivated, if you can’t see how much of a Motor this guys has well then I can’t help you. Problem is he tried putting on to much weight to quick and his body didn’t take to it well. Plus he had ham string issues. A proper strength and conditioning treatment will have Polite primed for 2020 season!
@@colexovitch You can't look inside a guys head though. Some guys have it, some don't. I do think the Jets have the perfect young core around him that can keep him motivated!
Dude didn’t put any effort for this offseason. He was out of shape which correlated toward his poor combine performance and he completely failed on the interview process. He could of prevented all of that and be a top 15 pick, but his self sabotage helped my jets get a huge steal. The guy got to work on his character, but beside that he’s an absolute beast
I heard he had ~100k in fines with the Jets for tardies and stupid shit. I hope Pete can sit him down and inspire him to fly right. Pro Bowl potential!
@@RobertLoeder A bit of time on the practice squad might straighten him out, it's a harsh life. Not only that, but he must now realise how close he just came to losing everything.
He's a Beast!!! The way he reacts on options. His jump off the ball. His read and react it's like he not being touched. & He get after the ball alot for a D-line man he that work
reading about him, I just don't think he was ready for how the NFL treats young prospects around the draft time. It seems like that really effected his drive and confidence. If anyone can get him motivated again it will be Coach Carrol.
Born March 30, 1998. Played high school football for the Mainland Buccaneers (FL). Played college football for the Florida Gators. Drafted #68 overall by the New York Jets. First game is August 8 vs the New York Giants in the Battle of the Big Apple. Who knows? He might help start a new generation of the New York Sack Exchange.
The play where he played the option run was absolutely perfect. Staying in-between the QB and RB to stop the pitch and force inside commitment by the QB...this dude will be a 3-down beast at LB with that level of football intelligence.
LOL Miami isn't on the right track yet. Not saying Diaz won't get them on the right track, but they're coming off a 7-6 season and he hasn't coached a game yet. Gators win by 3 TDs
@@OrangeBlue-ir5rf Im a gator fan living and south florida and you cant be more wrong. If you look at the transfers and commits miamis brought in, they have one of the best classes in the nation. Idc if Diaz hasnt coached a game yet, he still has them going in the right direction and will have one of the nations best defenses returning, and one of the highest rated qbs from 2018. I still think we win by 1 or 2 scores, but its gonna be a battle, it always is in rivalry games.
Twist What... Miami's recruiting class isn't in the top 30 right now. Who'd trasnferred in, Tate Martell? OK one guy. Hasn't played meaningful snaps in a college game yet. Btw, Miami's defense isn't even as good as Florida's defense. Miami's defensive numbers were inflated last year. Seriously, look at the offenses they faced all year. Did they play anyone with a good offense? Florida's defense performed better than Miami's in their two common opponents games-- LSU and FSU. Look it up.
@@OrangeBlue-ir5rf You showed me you dont know much about miami, and i realize their pass defense stats were inflated because teams were able to run all over them. Martell isnt their only transfer tho. Go look at ALL the transfers they brought in, combine it with their 2019 recruiting class, and then come back to me.
They set a precedent of not picking bad characters. He blew his chance by running his mouth like he was running shit at the combine. Came off as a problem that wouldn't accept coaching. Not too smart.
There is always a player that slides down the draft boards, and this year it is Jachai Polite. I remember seeing this kid mock drafted as high as #10 just a few months ago. Now he looks like a mid 2nd rounder to 3rd.
Due to his bad coming and pro day He'd be top 15-20. might drop to #35. He has the best PASS RUSH MOVES out of anyone in the draft. #4 Q. Williams, #24 C. Ferrel, #27 N. Adderly, #35 J. Polite. GAME OVER. GO RAIDERS
He definitely had the motor to go make up for the mistake he made at the beginning. He needed to breakdown and read the ball. If he does that he can take away the short dump pass
Currently polite is a rams player that we signed to our practice squad after being drafted by the jets, then released from jets, then Seahawks. But the dude has talent read reports he just lacks effort or drive once in the nfl. Hope rams can reignite the fire he had in college
I don't get why nobody is mocking him to the lions at pick #8, IMO he's better than Clelin Ferrel and Montez Sweat and Rashan Gary who are the 3 EDGE rushers that keep getting mocked to them
Logan Munting I agree bruh. Polite has a repetoire of pass rushing moves and he looks stout against the run. Ferrell and Gary don’t impress me at all. Montez sweat doesn’t have nearly the hip bend to get around tackles.
Who’s here now that he got released so fast and wondering what went wrong for the Jets to cut a 3rd Rd draft pick after 4 months and 4 preseason games!?
@@tywill7275 not crazy. jets now have pro bowl talent on EVERY level of the defense. jets will pass rush from multiple levels, from multiple angles. jets get close to 60 sacks this year. yeah, i said SIXTY
Reminds me of D-Law. Dallas at pick 58 please! I know he had crap interviews at the combine, but I ain't worried about that. His motor and nastiness is needed on that d-line. Hot Boyz!
NY J-E-T-S ..J-E-T-S ..J-E-T-S .. We now have our edge rusher. Tom Brady you bitch, you better watch your back now ... we will be bringing the heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’m happy the jets got him. But worried bout his attitude. Like how can u drop to the third with this talent level. He looks as good as josh Allen to me
Jacob Childers77 Allen always comes in unblocked he doesn’t use his hands or strength to power to through or around defenders, he won’t translate well the the NFL. Polite is able to get around the edge very fast when blocked and has the hands and speed of Khalil Mack and the strip lunge of Aaron Donald that will make him one of the most dangerous pass rushers coming out of this draft, to me Allen is a bust but I could be wrong
