@@Anthony-rn1eeoh hell yes!!!!! And we got the best one of the draft!!! Our defense is so nasty now it’s not gonna be funny when teams can’t block Cooper but him and Walker are gonna be so damn fun to watch!!
@@torrancealfonsooh yes they did and Gute had that grin on his face knowing if we can take the best LB of the draft, our defense will be scary! Watch him take down WILLIAMS!! And then suddenly he’s crying to his mom cuz of Cooper being too hard him lmaooo! He’s such an old school LB!!!
@@thomasking4398Not as much as we need a LB. We have a young group of corners behind the vets, safety should be addressed as well, but LB is a core need
4:46 is one of the most impressive plays you will ever see from a linebacker. Beats 3 blockers on a screen and makes the tackle. Dude was a stud. Going to miss him.
I more impressed that that's the first highlight where he is engaged with an actual blocker. This video makes me more inclined to scout A&M Defensive Linemen
What stands out to me is that on 98% of these plays, once he puts hands on the ball carrier, the opponent is either stopped in his tracks or he's going backwards. He consistently shows up with bad ententions. This guy is a brick wall. Theres no extra yards given. A rare and special trait.
@@harlanrifkind6925 🤔🤔🤔what are u talking about??? Literally no one said he was bad against the run. I actually complimented him on his aggression in tackling. Are you okay?
I can see OLD SCHOOL MENACING MLB...this young man will make ANY team happy with his production. I would love to see him in a Coach DeMeco Ryans defense. He's perfect for it because he THINKS before reacting.
The way he reads the offense and zeros in on the ball carrier like a Hellfire missile reminds me of Chiefs legend Derrick Thomas. I'm glad GB got him. I can't wait for him to make a few introductions with the Bears and Vikings. Lol
Dallas just signed Eric Kendricks. Cooper is a first round talent. Either mid or late. Dallas will probably go Oline in the first, a lot of Oline talent this draft. Wouldn't be surprised if Dallas goes 2nd or 3rd round with a LB. Would be nice to have this guy though.
I have been waiting for YEARS to finally have GB have LBs that are teams have to plan for since Bishop and Hawk, when guess what…we won a SB. We finally got those mean LBs in Quay and Coop (with a lil Duff action too). Great pick GPG!
His stop and go speed + tackling + football awareness and IQ + everything else really.. Looks like he could be a generational talent and maybe one of the best young defensive players coming into the NFL.. I think the entire NFL needs to watch out for Edge Cooper. He is a baller
He is really good at staying home in his gap of knowing the ball will come his way over chasing the runner overshooting the gaps which is common of sad MLBs of chasing. Guy be perfect for NFL due to his discipline of knowing the assignments of gap control or his lane.
Positional value and need be damned, would love to see the Lions pick him @29 or trade up in the 2nd if need be for this guy. Cooper & Campbell at LB would be incredible 🔥
Im an Aggie rn and have watched Coop play for a while. Just one thing I want to point out is that for a majority of the plays, Coop is kept (relatively) clean by his DLine which was one of the best in the country. Not to take away from Coop's very obvious talent, just wanted to point it out.
That's the one question mark I have one him: taking on blocking Olineman. He's quick for sure, but a bit light. My Packers, who are switching to a 4-3, are looking at him, talked to him at the Shrine Bowl.
I'm sorry... BUT, ANYONE, that can tackle a GROWN Man by the HAND!!!! SMDH!! WELCOME TO GREEN BAY YOUNG MAN!!!! GO PACK GO GOD!! I can't wait to see you on Sundays SMASHING fools!!!! Look out NFL, you have been put on notice!!!! STAND THE F BY for this young MAN!!!! LET'S GOOOO!!!!
Edgerrin Cooper looks like a Jim Harbaugh of the Chargers type of a player. See you at pick # 37 Edgerrin BOLT UP & Welcome to the LA Chargers potentially....
All I’m saying is if Nakobe dean hadn’t been injured so often he’d be great for us this guys a beast but I’d still shoot for Jeremiah trotter Jr not even just for the legacy his dad left but because he’s a monster bro
@@user-us6kt8il8o bro that would be the absolute SHIT.Mines as well. Our GM tends to go outside the box but man if he can jump to take these guys even if he has to move up a bit. This draft goes pretty dry after pick 150.Trade some later picks to move up and pick 6 to 7 guys and let’s get our season rollin with a free agent or two
@@user-us6kt8il8o them are literally my top 3 as well bro lol if we can't get all 3 I feel like we can definitely get 2 it'll be DeJean and Edgrrin or Edgrrin and Kam Kinchens
@@NinjasDTA idk a lot of teams are lacking in that department right now and there's not a lot of talent there. Several playoff teams may also need one enough to trade up, Philadelphia most notably
He's a weird one to me. He reminds me a bit of Zaven Collins. Both are a little bigger than optimal for their size. But I think Cooper is a little faster and Vollins was a little better w decisions. He's athletic enough to play 3-4 OLD or Mik. Very interesting player.
That’s kinda guy id like all day I think Zaven is a baller and was always impressed with how he would get a pic a fumble anything and be looking like Ed reed of linebackers running stuff back
