@@vladtv oh it supposed to be Luenell interviewing her or being interviewed? Either way this was a great interview and she definitely warmed up more as it started. I really liked this one. Great job ❤️🥰
She is a LEGEND! I absolutely love her and my 10-year old daughter walked in as I was watching and she said I know her - from Sister Sister…all of these 80’s & 90’s sitcoms are timeless. My kids and nieces watch her and other shows.
L.A IS MUCH BETTER THEN NEWYORK,..... THE SUNSHINE/WEATHER, BEACHES.. THE PALM 🌴 TREES SWIMMING POOLS... NEWYORK IS DIRTY, TRASH EVERYWHERE RATS BIG AS CATS 🐈 SNOW KNEE HIGH...... FILTHY AS HELL... LOS ANGELES CA FUCKS NEWYORK UP 20 TIMES OVER
I'm so excited when an early full interview is uploaded. While Jackee didn't look happy to be interviewed by Shawn Prez and VLAD TV, I thought it was a good interview. Jackee Harry is a TRUE queen of black sitcom.
@@EatinOffMyOwnPlate Yes, I am so tired of them using the word black as a prefix for every damn thing. They sound so ridiculous and don't realize how condescending that is.
This was such a good interview! Literally the first time I've ever watched a VLAD interview in its entirety and it didnt even feel long enough. Such a legend, she is.
This was such a spot on interview! 👏🏾 Thank you both Mr. Shawn Perez and the great Jackée for this video. I’ve definitely been a fan of 227 since its first premiere on NBC. 👍🏾
Why does no one ever ask her about filming for Francis Ford Coppola's movie, The Cotton Club, or The Women of Brewster Place? I would've liked to hear more detailed questions about her career and projects.
I saw the “Watch What Happens Live “ interview with Jackee and Regina King… it was off the chain hilarious!!! I couldn’t stop laughing but made myself because I didn’t want to miss what they were saying… she’s brilliantly funny without trying to be 😊
The Watch What Happens Live episode of her and Regina King is iconic!!🔥🔥🔥 When I say I laughed theee entire time baby they was drunk as a skunk hunny and I had a ball with them😂😂😭😭🙌🏽🙌🏽
This was a great interview. I feel like I've never seen her serious because she is always so jolly but this was such a solid interview. I love her giving props to the younger writers & actors. Class act!
DJ Vlad, this is interview with Ms. Harry was by far, the BEST! Thank you and Ms. Harry - so many great words of inspiration, education and motivation. WELL DONE!!!
this was great she's still a firecracker love to see her still awesome you never lose who you are when you're always authentic and she's the real deal and good job interviewer.
Soon as I saw JACKEE HARRY, I clicked on it! She’s my favorite comedic actress & yes, I know she’s a versatile actress but she’s my favorite COMEDIC actress!
MAAAAAN I LOVE ME SOME SAAANDRA CLARK....JACKEE WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BEAST...IF 227 DIDN'T HAVE HER ON THERE....THERE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A SHOW....SHE PRETTY MUCH MADE THE SHOW WHAT IT IS/WAS....I ACTUALLY JUST WATCHED SOME EPISODES ON RU-vid LIKE LAST MONTH AND COULDN'T STOP WATCHING BECAUSE OF HER....SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN!!!
This interview won't be considered a "DJ Vlad classic", but it was definitely a refresher. For someone like Jackee Harry to give plenty of wisdom, share her experiences that not many of those around her age experiences, and show major support to the younger crowd is pretty dope. Not a DJ Vlad stan, but give me the Warren Sapp, Lead Attorney, and Jackee Harry interviews over the regulars and planted artists.
That WWHL show with Jackee and Regina Hall is still the best show they ever had and ever will have. I remember when Andy tried to ask Regina something that should not be discussed and recorded on live TV while y'all were tipsy and having fun. Jackee, you put the breaks on that quick, fast and in a hurry. Andy didn't know what hit him. Jackee's the kind of Sista I'd want in my corner.❤
Sister, sister 🎶👶🏽🥚👶🏽 Talk about a two-way twister Shaking up the family tree With sibling synchronicity Sister, sister Never knew how much I missed ya Now that everybody knows I ain't ever gonna let you go Oh-oh-oh-oh Oh-oh-oh-oh Sister, sister Never knew how I missed ya Now that everybody knows I ain't ever gonna let you go Sister, sister 🎶 👨🏾💼💃🏽💃🏽👩🏽💼

I'm watching 227 ,S2 E11 The handwriting on the wall episode. I ❤ Jackee & the whole cast. I discovered this show a few years ago. ( I'm in my 30s). & have binged watched the whole catalog. Jackee' brought her character Saundra to life. She's brilliant. The 80s seemed to be so fun. I remember Sister, Sister.
Jackeè will forever be my aunty in my mind 🫶🏽I always admired her persona and the energy she brings into the room and to learn that you funny aunty is also the smart one makes me love her that much more lol
smart and pragmatic. I was in Studio 54 one time back in 1986. I saw her in he club. She looks even more Beautiful in person. Her lane is more comedien, Drama. She brings it.
Great interview. Jackee’s resume is legendary. You guys stepped it up with Ms. Harry. Towards the end you guys often were talking over each other which made it kinda hard to understand what either of you were saying at the time, around the dating subject part of the interview. Please do more legendary interviews like this, great job! 👍🏿
Wow, I learned a great deal about her during this interview. She is awesome. I agree with the earlier comment that stated she is like an auntie who will not lie to you. Yeah, a really cool auntie.
Jackee' pulls no punches. Always have enjoyed her shows and that tells it like it tis attitude in interviews. Flowers to Ms. Jackee' Harry. Very good interview Vladtv!
I love Jackee and I have since 227 when I was 15 years old in 1985.She's very comical, intelligent and very honest. She's very talented. Great interview.💛💛💛
I remember watching that original episode of wwhl with Jakeé and Regina. It was gold 🙌🏽 it made me love them as real people, they reminded me of my Mexican tias, my moms sisters hanging out around the kitchen island and catching up during the holidays 🥹🩵
So inspiring. I've seen so many women that have reminded me of Jackee Harry. As a child, it's a magical feeling to see people that represents your community. One of the many gems in Black Cultural Arts.
65 yo Black Woman here in Seattle. Mon 5am and I am hollering. I turned on CATCHY TV CHANNELL today and saw a show Ms Harry was on that Id never seen before THE ROYAL FAMILY created by Eddie Murphy. Redd Foxx had died on the set and Ms Harry was added to the show. She made her entrance at his funeral. Babeeeeee, I'm here to tell you, SHE ENTERED. I watched maybe 6 episodes and she was so sharp I began thinking of the peplum suits she smashed on 227. Was looking her up when I ran into this interview. BEST INTERVIEW EVVVER❤
That show was Andy Cohen show and babeeeeeeee she is right I’d never watched his show until I saw Regina and Jackee on it. IT WAS EVAH REEE THANG you hear me!!!
I enjoyed this she is a RIOT without trying and so intelligent. She never lied zhe was the IT GIRL in her day. Shaped like a brick shit house 😂 she was finer than fine. I can't wait for her book it will be a page turner!
