Jackée Harry and Jennifer Hudson chat about their first meeting in 2019 during “Live in Front of a Studio Audience,” and Jackée reminisces about why she was “hating on” Jennifer and had to check her ego. Jackée recalls becoming the first Black woman to win an Emmy Award for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for “227” in the ‘80s and what little she remembers from that historic night. The comedian admits why she didn’t want to star in the hit sitcom, “Sister, Sister,” revealing she wanted to be a serious actor and didn’t want to be anyone’s mom. Jackée also talks about how her current role on “Days of Our Lives” was written specifically for her and how Marla Gibbs, who plays her mother on the show, called her in the middle of the night to ask her the meaning of “WAP.” Plus, Jackée shares that she’s not looking for love and confesses her celebrity crush on actor Dave Bautista.

for those that dont know or believe that she really did want to become a dramatic actress, I wanna encourage you to watch "Brewster Place" a 10 part mini series that was produced by Oprah Winfrey (who was also in it). Jackee' was INCREDIBLE in that. She was still funny and witty, but her humor was a lot more toned down..and there were scenes, where you forgot that she made her millions in comedy. Niecy Nash is another comedic actress with INCREDIBLE dramatic 'chops'.

I grew up on 227 and lived Saaaandra! I started writing the name Sandra on my personal belongings lol she was who I wanted to be even at 5 years old. She was dynamic, fashionable, happy and so gorgeous!

The only part that was weird when she implied she was just looking for sex, give me a break not saying she doesn’t get urges but at that age it slows down not to me mention your vagina has changed a lot and intercourse can be uncomfortable. So stop putting too much on it. 😊
