When I heard John sing this song for the first time in the recording studio in March I immediately thought "That's Jack's and Ianto's story". John has dedicated the song to his husband Scott but it's just too perfect to not to jump on the opportunity and make a Jack/Ianto music video. It's so beautiful and fits just perfectly! :)
This is what I keep asking myself. When will I get over this?! Not happening any time soon. I don't even care about TW anymore, but I may never get over Ianto.
Poor Jack 😭 That’s one of the things that stinks about Jacks immortality it makes Jack and Ianto’s love story even more tragic because they will never see each other again 😭
These two were definitely soulmates the chemistry is undeniable In my opinion the only thing that stood in there way was Jack’s immortality which made there Love story even more tragic.🥰😢💙💙💙 😢🥰
I mean it was great but could they not have killed of the irratating pregrant woman. He would still have been sad and realised how dangerous it was but we need lanto
Well..I didn't know that a Video could make me feel so bad, but amazed at the same time. So...I ended Season four a Year ago, but before I needed more than six months, to ''recover'' from Iantos death. And this Video is so beautiful and sad and I just loved theire realtionship, because it wasn't like all the other in Shows. It was true and pure and to be honest, it took it's time. And I really, really wanted them to stay together. At least longer than this.
I'm just imagining him singing this at the ends a of the house of the dead and crying... Whenever I'm feeling sad I think of janto and it just makes it worse.
I needed to cry and have my voice break for a part in a play and so before the scene I just watched this backstage and god damn did it work. I even did it for the audition.
I can just imagine Jack thinking of Ianto every time he dies until gridlock where he finally reunites with him on what form of afterlife Doctor Who has.
How apropo! What a perfect pairing of video to a song! Many thanks. Some folks may not know that John's 2014 "YOU RAISE ME UP" is completely fan-funded and is his most intimate album to date. If enough people buy it he'll be in a better position to do concert tours in the US or Australia where he is beloved by thousands. Fans can order "YOU RAISE ME UP" from his official website at tinyurl.com/p7m7qed or at his official youtube channel tinyurl.com/pb2a4eg
Touchwood is/was much better than the current incarnation and series of Dr Who. They could get rid of Dr Who as the hot mess it is and bring this back. The team worked and worked well.
