Nope. Muriel Landers had plenty of natural padding. She and Peggy Mondo (who played the role when the routine became the mod trio, The Smithers Sisters, on a 1968 episode of "The Hollywood Palace") pretty much had all the "fat girl" roles covered.
Muriel stole the show when she guested on "Laugh In", as a little girl singing that she'd done naughty things because nobody had told her she shouldn't do those things. The song was specially written for her by the show's musical director, Billy Barnes.
