Annnnddddd....knowing what we "know" now, About Hollywood, "getting" roles... might, probably, welllll... (Coughs into hand, just like jb and mutters... "....probably was diddled..." *cough* "...juuusssttt a bit..." *cough* "...a scooch.." *cough* (Raises eyebrows , turns away) Is "this" too controversial? I'm not sure, is it?
well, that is how you tell a story right..??? Otherwise you wouldnt be a good story teller, right? At least you understand that these Hollywood freaks are just playing make believe every day of their lives like 5 year old children.
Nothing redone today is going to be good at all, not even close. Wait another 20 years until all this pc bs is done and people get back to respecting the classics
Little did he know he'd wear the same kind of hat again as an adult lost in the jungle with Dwayne Johnson in Jumanji. What a coincidence! Actually, he's lost in the jungle in Tropic Thunder too and on a jungle island in King Kong. Jack Black really loves the jungle apparently. He wasn't joking about loving Pitfall.
In a Pitch Meeting (least I think it's still a pitch meeting) video for Dwayne Johnson they pointed out he was in a lot of jungle movies maybe there's a slight correlation here? 😂
Jack black in jungle themed movies including one with a giant ape. Dwayne Johnson in several jungle themed movies, and one movie with a giant ape.... This conspiracy grows deeper...
10 years later he finally made it to Hollywood. Right if I am correct with when Jables and KG formed the band it was 93. Who knew that a birthmark could be a great bandname.
Yeah he's the same person. What's supposed to happen? Do people's faces just change shape? He got fatter and older. But he still looks like Jack Black, because he is Jack Black, which is obvious.
I remember vividly being 7 years old in ‘82 and playing this with my dad for hours when he got laid off at the mill. We had the best times together, he just passed 2 years ago from a heart attack while getting a liver transplant. I miss him and my late mother so much. She died back in ‘02 from complications from a bone marrow transplant having leukemia. They were both the coolest parents
@@TheBrianhjthat's how I felt before my father died. He managed to give me even more gifts before he passed, & to see the beauty in grief. It's rough, but that's life.
One of the most memorable actors who first appeared in a video game commercial is now voicing one of the most iconic video game villians of all time. Jack has come full circle.
Dear Lamar Myart, I know exactly what you mean! I love Pitfall Harry jumping up in the air and the synchronized crocodile heads. Say, did you ever get a chance to flip the cartridge or run out the full 20 minutes? Fun times! 🕹🕹🕹
People are saying that they’re surprised that jack black was ever a child. But what I’m impressed about is that he managed to stay pretty much the same from a child to an adult
Imagine if they had doubled down instead of backing out, today it might actually be worth it to go into a Walgreens for something other than filling a prescription.
That’s a different Walgreens lol. Unless I’m mistaken the Walgreens drug stores came out with the bush 43 administration. Big pharma deals in that mix.
it was before my time, but i've heard my brother say many times that when the ET Atari game bombed he got dozens of new Artari games from the local Rite-Aid for $0.50 each, and it only just now dawned on me that he was saying he bought them from a drugstore.
I get the reference, but this seriously was an advanced game for the time. Paved the way for Super Mario Bros, much like Adventure did for Legend of Zelda. Most games from this era are garbage.
Pitfall 2 was all underground, played that for hours and hours. Never did complete it. Definitely a classic. Funny thing, isn't that the same style hat Jack Black wears in the newer Jumunji movies?
@@mrbyamile6973 was there a completion to 2? I could play Pitfall one without dying once for hours and hours. It never ended. It only ended when you got bored.
@@moceri55 I think I read somewhere that pitfall 1 had around 300 interconnected screens and you had 20 minutes to get to the last screen. Apparently if you went underground it would skip ahead 2 or 3 surface screens and that was the only way you could accomplish all screens in 20 minutes. I know I never succeeded. I don't think pitfall 2 had a time limit so maybe it never had an end... seems like I could find a safe spot and eat lunch then continue, until I died. Never made it to any end on pitfall 2 either.
@@moceri55 Yup, You must get three colectibles to beat the game, Harry's niece, Harry's cat and the diamond ring. With all three, Harry joyfully skips and the game ends
@Z E It definitely does now, after revelations about Epstein, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim, etc. Back then, nobody in the general public was thinking that way though. It was just a kid saying something cute.
@@suprememasteroftheuniverse She means by personality... Also he never said he wanted to be a great actor. Clearly he has fun playing the fun roles where he can just be himself, nothing wrong with that
"Designed by David Crane" Ah, remember the days when Activision were the first "good guys" in video game publishing whose whole purpose for being was to give credit to the formerly unmentioned creators? Good times, good times.
Our next exciting Heroes of the Storm update adds Pitfall Harry as our new specialist! Rest of notes: Specialist role has been removed from the game Sylvanas no longer has a ranged attack Varian has received a slight buff and should be able to one-shot towers
Now Activision is a Cancer to gaming along with EA. EA used to make great games for the Commodore 64, Atari 400/800 computers. Not to mention Commodore 64-(Seven Cities of Gold).
The only good video gane company is DIY. seriously. if you complainers hate the game industry so much, make your own fucking game. the resources are readily available. oh wait, you are too lazy? then let the big companies make them for you. see the issue? you people are the problem. do something or shut the fuck up.
Girl in ad: "Since I met Pitfall Harry, no other man will do." Pitfall Harry: "I'm here for our date." Chris Hansen: "Hello there..." * Pitfall Harry jumps over camera crew and falls into pit *
Online he calls himself “pitfiller_harry2003” in an explicit Yahoo chat with a 13 year old girl he writes “I wanna blank your blank until you blank all over my blank” the decoy replies “kewl”. Harry asks the decoy if there will be scorpions and alligators and if her parents will be home
I mean, Jack Black doesn't exactly have a wide acting range. He plays the same goofball character in literally everything. He just happens to be wearing a safari hat here.
According to Jack Black, he was never giving his own copy of Pitfall for doing that commercial until GameSpot gave him one on a episode of Button Mashing.
It’s the law of attraction. His consistent energy from a kid until now has never changed thus he went full circle and attracted the exact movies that his young destiny here was clearly a start to.
Who is this, so called " Jack Black" ? Does he ride in the sunset? Does he feast on the finest of foods? Does he seek justice for the disenfranchised ?
