Hapsi Hapsenkakkiainen very true, it’s sad that Joeys dad didn’t get more episodes, the same with his mom, they just mention them here and there but only shows them once, a missed opportunity
2:56 “Alright fine, but I just want to say, I’M NOT PAYING FOR YOUR WHINE CELLAR!!!! YOU THIEVING WOULD BE SPEAKING GERMAN IF IT WEREN’T FOR US CHEAP LITTLE MAN!!!!” 😂😂
Yeah it's not like Britain was the only country defending the Jewish when Europe was falling and the American's didn't want to know prior to Pearl Harbor, right? You think the Jewish Gellers would remember that millions of Europeans died fighting those Nazi's intent on wiping out their ancestors. With fellow Jews Kaufman and Crane writing hateful "jokes" like that we'll know next time not to bother with those ungrateful, arrogant pricks! Look after our own people only, f**k the rest of the world.
Jack Geller and Dr. Green..both were seriously underrated..they were such refined actors who did undeniable justice to their characters..outstanding casting choices 👍
Elliot Gould is great in anything he does. He was in a Disney Movie The Last Flight of Noah's ark he was great in it a decade and a half before Friends. I really like the guy a very good and under rated actor. Who never really became superstars but were great in any role they did.
“Would be speaking German if it weren’t for us” i always found that line funny because if it weren’t for the British, the US would be speaking a totally different language so I guess the US is more indebted to England than the other way around.
Technically the British were trying to convince the US to join the war. The British declared war on Germany and America stayed neutral until the bombing of Pearl Harbor. So if you go look at a history book, America helped both France and Britain. Considering the air raids British was facing on their home front to get them to surrender and Winston Churchill wouldn’t do so. So in americas defense they helped the British not the other way around.
@@thekaiser5087 Ultimately we all ended up working together and that’s what matters to me. Imagine what we could all do working together now instead of fighting.
What i like about Jack Geller is that he does love his little Harmonica and that he was just oblivious to his favoritism on Ross as evidenced by him giving the porsche
That's a mighty fine historical accurate holocaust joke if I ever heard one ya Brits nice to know the Jewish community helped you out and no thanks I love the show but I see the joke and I applaud it
Ironically it was Chandler who paid for his and Monica's wedding so technically this was the last wedding they paid towards because they used Monica's wedding fund to buy a beach house and when her and Richard finished what they saved they redid the kitchen! Chandler really is an ace son in law he adores Monica, paid for their entire wedding and when he quit his job he still landed another great job that earns good money and he's financially savvy. It amazes me that Ross is the favoured child and Monica barely gets a look in.
